    Yeah trading for Bruce didn't make much sense to me. Of course we never found out the whole deal and $ going each way. The Brown pick up is a great zero risk move with potential upside and at worst adds needed depth. Nothing not to like there.

    Exactly this You don't really care who hits 2-3-4, etc, you just want the team to win games However, I would pretty much guarantee that a guy like Bautista cares VERY much about the "honor" of batting 3rd in the lineup, and the extra RBIs that come with it

    So easy to get emotional over this at this point, and want one gone and the other to stay based on gut feelings. Shapiro won't be like that or let emotions dictate anything. The deals for either have to make sense on years/needs and $ per performance basis or they just won't happen.
