  1. What are the chances of the average comp pick becoming at least an average or better MLB player 3-5 years later? The Cardinals have obviously done well above average drafting. Hopefully Shapiro/Atkins/scouting staff are decent. But when even first round picks don't always even become MLB players I imagine these sandwhich rounch comp picks are all over the place in terms of eventual quality. We also struck out with our Melky comp pick didn't we? Is he the only one we've had under the current system?
  2. No Hopefully Joe got to do her a few times during and after shooting
  3. Wacha is worth as much already, obviously projects better and is making league minimum. Hopefully we hit with our upcoming comp picks if that's what it comes to.
  4. Yeah and their fries and gravy are the BOMB I hardly ever eat there but damn it's worth it every once in a long while
  5. Hopefully not the Sabbathia diet
  6. "He got in touch with the same Duke University physical therapists who oversaw Marcus Stroman’s rehabilitation from knee surgery, listening to their advice about how best to approach the rest of his season. Shortly after it came to its end in Kansas City last October, Sanchez hopped on a plane and flew to Durham, N.C., to work with the Duke team in person, training two times a day, five days a week, with an additional session on weekends. He slowly added 25 pounds to his frame and substantially increased his flexibility and range of motion. He also focused on what he consumed more than ever before, working closely with a Duke nutritionist and having seven days worth of meals cooked for him at the beginning of each week." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I dunno Starting to sound like it MIGHT be legit
  7. No And I won't post any pics of my woman for fear of death. LOL.

  10. Congrats I'm working on #2 myself Very hot and crazy good cook Porn (food porn) can be provided if demand is high
  11. Two thumbs up for that
  12. Deluxe French Fries cole slaw FTW
  13. Well, one of them DID have Tommy John surgery...
  14. Yes, I agree on the Tulo trade, no matter what Hoffman becomes it was worth it. I expect a very good few years from Tulo and Reyes was a trainwreck that we jumped out from just in time.
  15. Gonna be depressing if we end up seeing a bunch of #1-2 caliber starters that we traded away, playing for league minimum, while we pay a bunch of #3-4 caliber guys 13M+
  16. That's why good players like that who were traded mid season are so appealing as free agents - they don't cost you a draft pick to sign them. (didn't matter with Cespedes because he stayed with the Mets but it was nice for Boston and Price)
  17. Not dumb at all... It applies to any player eligible for free agency as long as they were on your team for the entire season Players traded mid season (like Price and Cespedes last year) are exempt.
  18. Good post His OBP skills should remain even if his power wanes I would think. He has an *incredible* eye for the strike zone and excellent plate discipline.
  19. Jim Bowden tweeted and then removed: Jose Bautista should go public with "the number" Lott responded:
  20. This type of info NEVER leaked under Anthopolous
