However, he had Devon White, Roberto Alomar, Paul Molitor and for a bit Ricky Henderrson hitting in front of him. He obviously had far more than a fair share of opportunities to drive in runs. Almost everyone recognizes that now. (with the possible exceptions of Cito Gaston and Pat Tabler who probably still think he was just a "clutch RBI guy")
