Yes. Players will have dots they have to stand on until the pitcher releases the ball. They're not allowed to shade left or right based on the batter's profile, nor allowed to play deep in a tie game with a runner on base. If they move before the pitch they're offside. 1 ball penalty.

Yeah I recall I bet they just wanted total control of their finances this off season. If he had accepted it they might have had to automatically shed more payroll immediately rather than try to maybe work out a longer term deal with lower AAV or trade him.

Mmm I can certainly understand the reluctance from those two teams They just don't match up well. 2 years of increasingly expensive arbitration Realmuto won't appeal to a rebuilding team, and contenders won't want to trade MLB proven pieces for him unless it's from an excess a certain position. 4 years of Yellich was probably easier to trade

I guess Stroman and Sanchez are seen like Sonny Gray now Had SP 1/2 level heights and some promise but little chance now of being any better than a number 4 on a good team. I'm having a hard time accepting that but it's the truth

I wouldn't trade Sanchez or Stroman now. Value too low. A good first half for one of them and you probably get more at the trade deadline from a contender who's short a SP. Both have post season experience. Some GMs will like that.
