  10. Yeah. And they're even paying money to help move him. Seems odd to me. I mean even just giving him a half season chance to increase his trade value wouldn't have been crazy.

  14. Angels Sign Shohei Ohtani To Two-Year Extension, Avoid Arbitration By Mark Polishuk | February 8, 2021 at 2:44pm CDT The Angels have announced a two-year, $8.5MM contract extension with pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani. The deal will keep the two sides from an arbitration hearing, after they failed to reach an agreement on Ohtani’s 2021 salary prior to the arb deadline. Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register (Twitter link) reports that Ohtani will earn $3MM in 2021 and $5.5MM in 2022.
  15. That's also true At least they have one bona fide reliable stud And their biggest gambles (Taillon and Kluber) have bigger upsides then ours Will take some offense and some luck to beat the Yanks this year
  16. Yeah their rotation could be anywhere from amazing to just OK It's the very definition of high risk high reward
  17. At least we won't have to face Snell...
  18. One of my favorite sports jokes they posted 7 months before the Rams were to play their first game in L. A. : https://sports.theonion.com/traffic-already-lining-up-to-be-late-to-l-a-rams-open-1819592456
  19. Oh I see We'll it's LA and you have to beat the traffic Is New York any better?? 1000s show up late there even for playoff games
  20. Yeah WTF https://www.espn.com/mlb/attendance/_/year/2019 Dodgers draw about 18,500 more per game than the Mets
