  1. Yeah he can't face NYY MIN CWS etc
  2. We need Ray and Pearson back ASAP
  3. No Gibby, don't do it! Sorry, can't help myself...
  4. deGrom receives probably the worst run/team support in the history of baseball?
  5. Over a grand total of 16 regular season games. And then he completely disappeared in the post season.
  6. Mets season underway deGrom painting the corner with 99 mph
  7. I'm here thinking the team looks really good And then I remembered we're adding George Springer soon
  8. He looked good/bad about half the time each as a Met. Sounds like he was making adjustments to his arsenal/delivery year to year and sometimes it just didn't work. Hopefully he and Walker have figured out the right recipe... And we extend him.
  9. Working, but with the game on a little corner of my second screen Just came on to say YES SEMIEN This lineup has so many ways to score runs I love it
  10. I'd rather keep McGuire than lose him for a few bucks cash He's our backup and we can stash him innAAA all year. Nothing wrong with that.
  11. Fn awesome And that White Sox lineup is stacked
  12. Ah s*** you're right It's not as simple as comparing $ per WAR of EE vs Morales
  13. It was sad seeing cornerstone players leaving or being traded for seemingly light returns Stroman seemed to net a decent return, he was the only one Edwin walked (prob should have stayed, both sides would have been better off). But Donaldson and Aaron Sanchez had been hurt so much it didn't feel like they were getting much back. Russel Martin was declining so we couldn't expect much back. Bautista wasn't worth bringing back for the same reason. Pillar was a fan favorite but had minimal value by the time he was traded. Osuna got dumped for a decent closer but older, with health problems and shorter period of control. Plus the Jays were paying gobs of money just to unload Martin and Tulowitzki It was an aging roster and it made sense to trade everyone. But it was also sad and the overall returns didn't make you feel very good about it.
  14. We may have won both times he was traded Not very often you can say that
  15. Sucks being a 29 year old rookie
  16. When's the last time a relief pitcher won rookie of the year?? (Ummm... Asking for a friend)
  17. Agreed Spring training I kept optimistically thinking the bullpen was shaping up pretty well It's def not a weak spot Only the starting rotation is with the current injuries
  18. Julian Merryweather: Debut: August 20, 2020 Rookie Status: Still Intact through 2021 2021 Contract Status: Pre-Arb Eligible Service Time (01/2021): 0.114 Arb Eligible: 2024 Free Agent: 2027
  19. They can't hit that high neat none of them
