    Re Lindor His bat has been deteriorating for two years On the one hand I thought it seemed a little dangerous signing a long term deal in a tough fanbase/media/market without having played a single game as a Met... And I though he could get that deal next year from a number of teams of his choosing. OTOH maybe he and his agent knew his eliteness was dwindling and they thought maybe he wasn't going to get that deal if he waited... And if so they may have been right. I mean he'll hit better than this, but it probably will turn in to a large overpay contract.
