  1. I would expect so If not then the sticky stuff might not have been helping as much as everyone thought and maybe we just have more great pitchers than great hitters these days
  2. Even when Major League Baseball eventually does "The Right Thing", they still find a way to mess it up with poor timing, suboptimal implementation, poor communication with stakeholders and bad PR
  3. Also, if they do make the post season and there are not significant additions, they don't stack up well due to the bullpen. Having 2-3 really good high leverage BP guys in a 7 game series with multiple off days is so important.
  4. Against a much better bullpen Good thing our lineup is better
  5. His post is pointing out how atrocious they've been since May 15
  6. And he'll clearly be worth the QO Possibly Ray and Matz too
  7. Exactly Do it now. Every win (and loss) matters The Rays already did .. fuxkers
  8. We *DO* have 18 or 19 games left to play against the Orioles
  9. Can't wait to face the Yankees again Especially Cole on Wednesday...
  10. Holy s*** That's rough when you're playing every day
  11. Wait what They lose the roster spot?!
  12. Since the ghost runner on 2B started - how many times vs the past does the game end in the 10th inning? I'm sure it's WAY more often.
  13. Rays Send Tyler Glasnow For MRI Due To Elbow Issue https://www.tampabay.com/sports/rays/2021/06/14/rays-tyler-glasnow-leaves-game-with-elbow-inflammation/ The Rays are sending Tyler Glasnow for an MRI on his elbow after the right-hander left last night’s start after four innings, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times was among those to report. The team announced Glasnow’s issue as elbow inflammation, with the pitcher telling reporters he felt “a little tug” and “tightness” in the area. Initial word from the team was inflammation, but Glasnow said that he felt “a little tug” and “tightness” in his elbow, first on a 98.2-mph fastball, then during three subsequent pitches to finish the inning. “I think I got it relatively early,” Glasnow said. “I just was like, I don’t want to go back out and like chance it. I felt it, like, the last four (pitches). The (velocity) and everything was still there. But it just felt not right.”
  14. Game 1 was all on the pen and Charlie Game 4 could have been won with a timely hit with RISP, yes
  15. Does Pete Walker have any say in bullpen deployment??
  16. SP has been good and the lineup is fantastic Yes it's infuriating to see so many late inning losses when we go pen to pen against teams like Tampa.
  17. Agreed At this point I'm probably more upset with the FO not helping out the bullpen than I'm upset with how Montoyo is employing what he has available
  18. It puts the pressure on the teams to police it internally
  19. Seriously though Imaging Vlad hitting the juiced ball thrown from non sticky fingers
  20. TOP OF THE ORDER COMING UP What more can you ask for
