I have to say I've been beyond pleasantly surprised with Adam Lind this season. It's been one of the few good news stories this year. I was among MANY who would have very happy to see him dealt or dumped this off season and was specifically pining for having him replaced with Justin Morneau. (a player I'd love to see here regardless some day, and he even wants to play for the Jays he has said) In any case, so far this year: Lind .304/.401/.496/.897 with 4 HR, 20 BB, 22 K. Salary 5M Morneau .299/.348/.401/.749 with 2 HR, 13 BB, 29 K. Salary 13M We're getting better performance from Lind for 8 million dollars less. And he's 3 years younger. Will this last all year? Maybe, maybe not. But let's enjoy what we have. Good work Mottola and Lind. It's appreciated.

Poor plate discipline Poor self control Unrefined swing Very little extra base power Yeah he's just not getting it done at the plate. His defense is the only reason he's an acceptable MLB player right now.

Due respect to your fantasy team, I find he's just a great option off the bench to pinch hit off a LHP or pinch run for Lind, JP, Melky, etc. Hopefully Gibbons is artful at knowing when to pinch hit for his starting pitcher...

Lots of interleague coming up Jays vs Braves (home and home), then away at Padres and Giants Yankees vs Mets Red Sox vs Phillies Orioles vs Nationals Tampa vs Marlins Kinda sucks we got the best team to play against and Yankees and Rays have the worst Can we hold our ground over the next week? How will AA and Gibbons manage the roster vs multiple consecutive games in NL parks with no DH?

Depends on how he really feels Is pain affecting his performance or not? If so yeah, some DL time might help him recover But we don't really know how he's feeling and this team has a history of not fully informing the press and fanbase in this regard
