  1. Edwin da man!!!
  2. Escobar seems to have problems playing against former teams. Remember last spring training when he made a bunch if mistakes against the Braves? (Thought he'd hit a HR but hadn't, underthrew to 1B at least twice) Well he's more than welcome to carry on this year against us.
  3. I'll begin by stating that I'm a big Gose fan and I think he's our CF of the future But right now: - The team is in a vulnerable spot with chance of completely blowing the season with tough opponents coming up - Gose needs full playing time to develop his hit tool - Gose is slumping right now Add that all up and it doesn't make much sense to call him up now
  4. Nope It doesn't make much sense either I'm a Gose fan but he needs full playing time to develop his hitting, the team is in a vulnerable spot, and he's slumping right now It's a serious gamble
  5. If that we're it they wouldn't have had to option Storey though Still could be in the plan but...
  6. Decent chance
  7. I was expecting a call up of a position player at the expense of a bullpen arm. But I didn't think it would be Gose... Get Thole up here people.
  8. @BlueJays: The @BlueJays have recalled OF ANTHONY GOSE from @BuffaloBisons (AAA). RHP MICKEY STOREY has been optioned to Buffalo.
  9. HOWARD SIMMONS/NEW YORK DAILY NEWS May 17 Mets catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud expects to spend two more weeks in a boot for his fractured foot before resuming baseball activities. CHICAGO — Top catching prospect Travis d’Arnaud was not cleared by doctors to resume activity on Friday, and instead will need two more weeks in a boot to protect him from putting weight on the fractured bone in his left foot. D’Arnaud has worn the boot since suffering a non-displaced fracture of his first metatarsal a month ago. While it was not the best-case scenario, it was not totally unexpected, according to the team. The Mets expect D’Arnaud to resume playing in Triple-A by mid-June. Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/mets/mets-insider-arnaud-cleared-play-article-1.1347585#ixzz2TnVYep7O
  10. Wow he looks ugly in that middle pic...
  11. Trying to look like Josh Johnson?
  12. Slow news day I'm happy about it http://Instagram.com/p/Zg7aanoy4i/
  13. Nice @ShiDavidi: For all asking, Marcus Stroman throws five shutout innings, four hits, a walk, six Ks in New Hampshire's 7-4 win over New Britain.

  15. Off day so the boyz are... Getting their hair cut! LOL. http://instagram.com/p/ZgKieLIy0E/
  16. We also need Josh Johnson back. He can actually hit. LOL.
  17. Here's another point. We have a bunch of games coming up in National League parks. (Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco) You absolutely HAVE to have some bats on the bench during those games to pinch hit/run for your pitchers. He'd better shrink the bullpen before then.
  18. Yeah, watch him option Lincoln to Buffalo, just to call up Jeffress. LOL.
  19. There. He said it.
