  1. Romero could be a legitimate callup if JJ continues on and off the DL or in Wang has bad outings.
  2. 1 BB 7 K Do that a couple of more times Ricky and maybe, just maybe...
  3. Encouraging!
  4. Absolutely right. And only Buerhle has been consistently good among the three over the past couple of months. Dickey and Johnson have both been wildly inconsistent all year. It's maddening.
  5. Dunno. I suspect JB likes the "protection" of Edwin hitting behind him. Lind has been just as good but...
  6. Laughable double standard For the record I don't really suspect Davis is cheating. I'm even more confident that Bautista is not.
  7. Nice This Yankee slide is much appreciated The fact that Chris Davis and the Orioles are responsible for it? Not so much.
  8. Have you ever challenged him to a foot race? If so, how did you do?
  9. The pitch (and ongoing jawing during Fielder's at bat) in question: http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=28469813&query=&game_pk=347949
  10. @Chris_Iott: Jim Leyland on the ball near Cabrera's head: "We won't tolerate that. ... There's a price to pay for that." @jonmorosi: Tomorrow is last Rays-Tigers game this season. If Tigers feel the Cabrera tower-buzzing merits a reply in 2013, we should find out soon. @jonmorosi: Not saying there should be, necessarily. But Cabrera's response indicated that he was quite seriously offended. http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130629/SPORTS0104/306290052/1004/
  11. A very quick non-stalking image search suggests its the girl he's been with for a while, she used to be blonde
  12. Sportsnet: Detroit’s Miguel Cabrera went 1 for 4 with a walk, but his major league-leading batting average dropped two points to .375. He has a 14-game hitting streak. Cabrera appeared to yell toward the Rays’ dugout after striking out against Fernando Rodney (3-2) in the 10th. The Rays closer, who worked two scoreless innings, threw an in-tight 1-2 pitch that backed him off the plate. Rays slugger Evan Longoria was out of the starting lineup for the first time this season due to a sore right foot. The third baseman, who left Friday night’s game, is also expected to sit out on Sunday against the Tigers.
  13. Yeah. Didn't realize it was another 4 game series.
  14. Oh, and getting engaged aparently:
  15. Dancing with??? Edit: His grandmother.
  16. Yep MLBTR: Detroit GM Dave Dombrowski insists that, in spite of designating Valverde for assignment, the team "still think he can close games for us"
  17. Very glad we get to play them while they're slumping. And we somehow managed to miss Verlander AGAIN!!
  18. Dammit even more. Rays win. How, you ask? On a Yunel Escobar clutch RBI single. Tu Eres Maricon? No.
  19. Hell yeah I'm above the line. Woohoo! Yeah baby, yeah. Luvs me some Bautista.
  20. Fantastic points. He's only batting "second" once per game. Hopefully he gets that.
  21. Yep. I know how they feel...
