    Unfortunately, yes I wanted them to lose him and AA would be all over him on a 1 year deal, but there was never a chance

    If he can sign a good DH/bench/platoon partner for Lind, and land a decent starter without giving up more than one top prospect or draft pick, then I'm happy with this off season There's still the mid season trade deadline next year to grab something you need, once it's more clear what that is

    Funny how replacing just one name makes such a difference to that lineup Scratch the name "Goins/Izturis" from the lineup and insert "Cano" and the whole complexion of it changes.

    Seems to happen to almost every mid-late 20's ball player, no matter how decent they may have seemed before. They start seeing $ signs and get greedy. On the one hand it bothers me when they start acting like this, on the other hand I can kinda sorta understand. A little bit. It's your ONE massive payday and you want to maximize it.
