  1. Agree on all counts, and yes it is WAY too much to ask for A Lind platoon partner takes pressure off him Sainging Jimenez would have made a Dickey failure or Morrow injury more sustainable Infante or Drew or a trade for 2B would mean we could survive a Lawrie or Reyes injury stint better
  2. Duquette wins... feh tality. (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/feh)
  3. Laughing at this and our collective shared misery
  4. JIM BOWDEN ‏@JimBowdenESPNxm 9s Orioles not done....still alive on Nelson Cruz or Kendrys Morales
  5. Yes yes yes yes This is exactly right. Even most of the naysayers were at least willing to go along for the ride with path 1, recognizing that it may only be delaying the need for a total rebuild. But yeah there was no acceptable "in between" option at all. Another .500 season +/- 2-3 wins accomplishes nothing
  6. Snider will be lucky to see 150 PA this year God he sucked last year Approx same career OPS as Omar Visquel (.701 vs .688)
  7. s***. When/where was that?
  8. Yep. Crazy MF. Hope he's banned for life. (I'm almost surprised this has never happened before when you think about it)

  10. HOLY s*** this is the most violent baseball fight I've ever seen. Cuba: http://www.baseballamerica.com/international/incredible-video-cuban-player-charges-mound-with-bat-swings-at-pitcher-in-chaotic-brawl/
  11. MLBTR: Deep down, the Indians never really wanted Jimenez back in Cleveland, writes Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. While the team admired Jimenez's work ethic and felt he was a positive presence in the clubhouse, they didn't feel his wild performance swings were worth the trouble. Hoynes points out that it's a bonus that Baltimore landed Jimenez, because their forfeiture of the No. 17 pick allows Cleveland to move from No. 22 overall to the No. 21 overall pick in the first round.
  12. Reyes rocks
  13. Mariners close to signing per multiple Twitter sources
  14. Unfortunately that's my vote too. Most other divisions have at least one absolutely terrible team but ours doesn't.
  15. Need to order some of this: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zA38zaultlE/TcR83jlHpfI/AAAAAAAAAl8/mWHzR8ulEEY/s1600/lightningshirt.gif
  16. I think Cubs and Astros will still stink this year and finish dead last, but in another year or two could be competitive
  17. A dubious distinction to be sure What decent team will finish last in their division this year and why?
  18. f*** you Annibal Sanchez. Seriously.
  19. I liked everything you said except the part where Drabek is a legitimate major league starter
  20. 100% right. Letting Johnson walk only made sense if you used the $ somewhere else.
  21. No, it's time to address the 2 already glaring needs and then see what ELSE you need
