    Half of those knuckeballs in the first 3-4 innings didn't move AT ALL JP coulda caught those! (well, the ones that weren't being hit off the outfield wall anyway)

    Until this spring I hoped that he would regress/progress/whatever to replacement level. But I haven't seen a shred of anything all spring to suggest to me he will. He looks awful.

    It's not the 0-1 record that upsets me It's the laundry list of problems I saw unfold during the game that suggests the team does, in fact, have MAJOR flaws

    But the problem is you gave him the job, after 1-2 games you change your mind? What does that say? It says you had no clue way you were doing in the first place Rightly or wrongly, Thole may get another few weeks to redeem himself But he shouldn't have been here in the first place

    Kratz has looked all spring like a better player than Thole in every way Dickey is essentially bringing Thole along for the ride
