  2. G-Snarls
Yeah I'm feeling superstituous about it too Maybe he DOES have it in him... *knocks on wood*
  3. G-Snarls
How amazing would it be if Happ somehow gave us 160 innings of middle-rotation caliber performance this year?? I'm certainly not counting on it, but it actually seems like it might be plausible
  4. G-Snarls
    Good work Happ

I presume so Siddall is better than Tabler - they should demote Tabby to the radio but he'd probably quit if they did LOL
  6. G-Snarls
And he nose breathes in to the microphone all the time Worst broadcaster we've had in years Siddall is so good but the TV stole him

This is also not your older brother's Justin Verlander Hopefully he has at least one more shaky start
  8. G-Snarls
Chance to sweep a series vs Tigers while facing Verlander and feel like it's actually possible that they could do it? This is NOT your 2013 Blue Jays

Gibby was on Jeff Blair show just now Colby started taking BP and running the bases today MIGHT start rehab games "in a week or so" So, Gose and Pillar are staying a while yet

  12. G-Snarls
    LOL Love it

I also don't remember there being a ton of hype for him, he's been a breath of fresh air from the farm for sure (injury notwithstanding obviously)

On a related note, admin ran an IP check for duplicate accounts. It was worthless. Not a single bad poster was found to have multiple accounts accessed from the same IP address. At the same time, MANY legit good posters were found to be sharing IP addresses with other legit good posters. With the way IP addresses are handled by providers these days, and with how people often access the board via smartphone from all over the place, IP checks are RARELY helpful

It is ONE of the issues That's why admin started this thread, and why I have reminded people with this update Yes, some of the hard core long-term forum regulars are hard on new members sometimes. We are just asking them to be patient with new people. In-fighting and bickering among long-term regulars, and annoying posters who keep coming back with new identities when they get banned are other issues.

Re opened to remind people Traffic is way up. Dozens of new posters. Over 300 logged in during the last few games. Times are good. Give the new people a chance to settle in. Say hi. Don't jump on them if they don't know the board "etiquette" (or lack thereof) and don't make fun of brand new people.for saying something about baseball that might be wrong. Give them a chance. Politely correct people. We want them to stay. They'll figure out shown the place works. That's all we ask. Cheers everyone. Go Jays!

So many reasons to pick any given guy Hutch - fantastic comeback from TJS Buerhle - Career year so far, outperforming even any outlandish expectations Edwin - Records set and smashed what a month Bautista - Have never seen him so focused and determined and beastly and selfless all at the same time Seitzer - may deserve some credit Janssen - saved the bullpen's ass Melky - we finally got the real Melky this year. He's a hit producing machine Lind - so confident and steady now. Plus beard.
  18. G-Snarls
If this team goes far this year, there seem to be a ton of good stories along the way.
  19. G-Snarls
It really is hard to pick just one. That's a good thing.
  20. G-Snarls
That first graph is my favorite thing so far this year
  21. G-Snarls
Casey Janssen The rest of the bullpen was freaking me out. He came back and calmed everything right down. Thanks Casey. Runner up: Jose Bautista
  22. G-Snarls
You can only pick one It can be for any reason Be brief - 1 short paragraph on why (List a runner up if you must)
  23. G-Snarls
    Good good
  24. G-Snarls
They're the only team I'm really no longer worried about. This year.
