  1. Seriously? Come on man...
  2. Yep Lineup is absolutely killer. Defense is good even as is, was even better with Goins/Diaz instead of the current IF but I'll take all the extra runs on offense thank you very much. We need to clean up the BP - Rogers DFA, figure out who we can rely on the the 8th (I vote Cecil and McGowan) We need another good starter to go with Dickey/Hutch/Buerhrle. It might come from within (Hendricks, Stroman, Nolin) or might require a mid season trade. But this team really is pretty good.
  3. Welcome man, glad you made the move Sempai is insufferable. Dogg/Zee are a complete sideshow that takes away from any semblance of a good board. DJ Blu Ray isn't the smartest guy around but you know what? He's an unapologetic Jays fan who stands behind his beliefs and I can absolutely respect that. He's more than welcome here.
  4. With the Yankees loss official, Jays are in sole possesion of first place in the American League East Will it last? Don't know. But I'm sure enjoying it right now. Good job boys. Toronto 26-22 Baltimore 23-21 NY Yankees 24-22 Boston 20-26 Tampa Bay 20-28

  9. And I think you have a better chance of him taking 2-3 years, while Colby will expect more.

  14. Dammit I wish they had managed to trade Santos this off season. Double dammit.
  15. Googled for Price images and found this tidbit from a little over a year ago. Price nicknamed Giancarlo Stanton "Create a Player" because he said in baseball video games he would create monster power hitters and Stanton reminds him of the guys he would create. LOL http://mlb.mlb.com/assets/images/5/0/0/40808500/cuts/giancarlo_create_player_3i25ljld_xqd7noz2.jpg
  16. Any chance some of it is Price getting more borderline calls in his favour due to his reputation as a guy with good control? Then again, his on-field personality may hurt him a bit. LOL
  17. MLB.com: With but one hit, A's manage 3-2 win over Rays ST. PETERSBURG - It's good to be the A's right now. How good? They were one-hit Wednesday night and still won for a fifth straight time. Oakland's 3-2 victory over the host Rays, prompted by a fourth-inning solo home run from Brandon Moss and more than a little help by way of two defensive errors from the opposing side, is the club's fifth straight and 11th in its past 12 games. "It's not the easiest way to win a baseball game," Moss said. It is also extremely rare. Since at least 1913, the A's had never done it in a regular-season game, only once accomplishing the feat with a one-hit win in Game 4 of the 1974 American League Championship Series at Baltimore on a Reggie Jackson double. Moreover, Oakland is the first team to win with a home run as its only hit since the White Sox beat the Cardinals that way on June 22, 2006. "One's all you need," a smiling Bob Melvin said.
  18. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2014/05/rangers-outright-j-p-arencibia-off-40-man-roster.html Rangers Outright J.P. Arencibia Off 40-Man Roster By Jeff Todd [May 22, 2014 at 7:43am CDT] After originally optioning struggling catcher J.P. Arencibia, the Rangers have outrighted him off of the club’s 40-man roster, according to the PCL transactions page. Drew Davison of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram first reported yesterday via Twitter that Arencibia had cleared outright waivers and been assigned to Triple-A. The 28-year-old Arencibia has continued the decline he showed last year before being non-tendered by the Blue Jays and inking a one-year, $1.8MM deal with Texas. He carries a .133/.182/.233 line through 66 plate appearances this season, with just one home run. While Arencibia struggled to get on base even at his best, his .225/.279/.437 triple-slash (and 41 home runs) over 2011-12 was good for a 91 OPS+. He has been a sub-replacement-level player since.
  19. Today Rangers have outrighted JPA from their 40 man roster Double ouch
