    OK, have to give Happ some serious props He brought his A game and pitched a gem Didn't get lucky. He just pitched really really well. 7K. Better than usual fastball with command with better than usual velocity. Great curve. Didn't give up a bucnch of 390 foot fly balls. Just a great game. Well done Happ. Awesome.

    Getting 50,000 instead of 30,000 AND having them all there 2 hours earlier must make a ton of money. Just the food/water/beer/pop alone would be huge from all the extra time in there.

    On paper this team was projected to win maybe 81-84 games depending on who's projections you looked at right? It doesn't take a LOT of luck to have that become 78 wins or 87 wins. And a weak division changes things a LOT. Is that lucky? Yes, it sort of is. Is having Melky and Bautista playing this well lucky? Not so much, they're just playing more to their true talent level and not hurt.

    The main luck has been with injuries sort of and other AL East teams being crappier than expected Most of it has just been more guys playing to their talent level than last year

    Also have to worry that Francisco goes in to a long slump and starts committing errors at 3rd base. But yeah, the quality of our 4/5 starters is what worries me the most too.

    Had never heard of Sikula Numbers is high A are killer and I presume he gets moved to AA soon? Does he project as a major leaguer or too hard to say??
