I know Because Dickey's ERA went up 1.5 runs after his magical Cy Young season to the AL East while he was slightly injured, we should expect the same to happen to ALL NL starters. Pffft

If we could pick up him or Shields I'd be thrilled. Hoping Stroman sticks and gives us mid rotation caliber performance. But if he falters, it hurts less if we have Shields or Shark in the rotation. Happ as swingman (which he likely becomes if we pick up a starter) is better than Hendriks or Redmond IYAM. So I'm happy with what Happ is doing but would NOT use it as an excuse to not try and upgrade.

There's been so much Happ hate over the last 2 years. But I now find myself legitimately excited to watch his starts and see if he can carry the streak of decent starting pitching he has provided so far. Am I the only one who looks forward to his starts? LOL

How do people feel about him this season? I'm curious. I think he's been better than expected. Quite a better than expected. and not just lucky, but legitimately good, better than the average 5th starter. Will it last? Don't know. He had a good 1/3 season last year before his injury than was never the same. But this has been a good run and I'm happy about it for sure. Thoughts?

Yep. that's why it was a double win when they got Stroman and Hendriks up. They had a choice of a new SP and it gave the BP a RHP upgrade it sorely needed (thanks to Santos and Delabar.)
