    That play aside he's been fine at second. He seems to rate about average to maybe very slightly plus.

    My understanding is that once the pitch is caught in the glove, the pitch is considered complete and the batter hitting the glove afterwards would not matter. If he makes contact before it's caught then it would be interference.

    Schneider, Fluharty, Mantiply and Fisher all have options. I'm guessing Mantiply will be the one and possibly Schneider after him.

    Maybe it's the 9th inning that's cursed and not Hoffman.

    When Rogers is out there, I almost feel like we should move to 5 infielders (which we could with Schneider in the lineup).
