  1. Man, Taveras is horrible out there. Two days in a row he made massive mistakes.
  2. Voth, definitely. Seabold, probably. Seabold does seem to have shown a jump in his stuff this year so maybe there could be something there.
  3. Can't unless the score differential becomes 6 runs or greater (I think).
  4. I wonder what Cal Quantrill would cost to shore up the rotation for a while. You'd have to think the Rangers would think about trading him.
  5. It would be great if we didn't let Rogers get a complete game on like 90 pitches.
  6. Anyone still want to complain about Varsho's defense?
  7. Vladdy. No worms shall be killed today!
  8. There's 0% chance either side accepts anything close to the other's proposal.
  9. Maybe, but Kirk seems to be better when he plays a lot. I mean, come the stretch run you don't worry any more about the lack of playing time, but I think he has to go down when Kirk returns.
  10. I don't think you want him only appearing twice a week at this stage in his career.
  11. Brandon Lowe might be a guy to watch if Pittsburgh falls out of the race.
  12. Great play by Valenzuela, but a risky one. Also, Baltimore's base running might be worse than ours.
  13. Clearly safe. Good try by Ernie, but really no chance whether he flipped it or tried to set himself.
  14. Rogers to Varland. I like our odds of holding the lead.
  15. Yes, at this point in the game. I wouldn't like it in the early innings.
  16. This is a good scenario. Varsho tends to hit the ball in the air and has the speed to stay out of a DP if he kills some worms.
  17. The starting rotation may be largely MIA, but our starters are still 6th in fWAR
  18. For all we complain about our struggling bats, O'Neil has put up -0.6 WAR this year after -0.3 last year.
  19. It's fine. He got a good pitch to hit and hit a line drive with an xBA of .430.
  20. He actually has been above average defensively, at least before this game.
