  1. I'll take Varsho assuming the game ever starts up.
  2. The ball never touched the ground anyway. Varsho got it clean, albeit just barely.
  3. We seem to have more issues with pitchcom than all other teams combined. I'm starting to think the team may be doing it intentionally.
  4. Coming into today he was the 3rd best pitcher in baseball so far (by WAR).
  5. That's one that I bet Varsho wants back. It would be a hell of a catch, but he's capable of bringing that back.
  6. I don't think it stayed in his glove, but that was a hell of a try. Not sure if that's going to be clear enough to overturn it though.
  7. Apparently Chisholm does with pants what Ernie does with bats (borrows them off teammates thinking they might be lucky). Ballplayers are weird. 🙄
  8. Talk about disrespecting Varsho's arm! How do you even attempt that if you're Bellinger?
  9. The boys need to give Corbin a bit of a breather on the bench this time. He's putting in some work out there.
  10. Our boys are trying to make contact when swinging. The Yankees are trying to do damage.
  11. I'd sure love to hear the logic for putting Sosa in the 4 hole.
  12. That's the type of play that challenges are designed for. Very clearly safe at 1st. Not sure what the ump was looking at.
  13. They want to save some of the other pitchers for tomorrow night against the Yankees.
  14. Every time I see those commercials I really miss Halladay.
  15. Gimenez needs to defer to the outfielder in that situation. Hard to fault Pinango on that.
  16. There's been a few wicked infield hops in this game. Schneider just had one, and Torkelson had one earlier.
  17. Sanchez has to be one of the most uncoordinated players I've ever seen. Nothing he does is graceful, but he somehow manages to get it done.
  18. That was a 16 degree launch angle and he got it out!
