Not a huge fan of Rogers here. The Marlins are a team that can beat out those nubbed worm killers. Would prefer Varland to finish it out. Use Rogers against the Orioles.
Miles coming into today had a 2.17 ERA, and 3.05 xFIP. How the hell does a pitcher with only 4.1 innings above rookie ball over a 4 year period come in and do this? The numbers aren't a fluke. He really is pitching this well.
League average this year is .239 with a .705 OPS. That will likely improve as the batters heat up in the summer, but there's a lot of good hitters who are having a terrible start to the year.
