Doesn't MLB have an agreement with those leagues to honor suspensions? I think I remember something about that. -
That's nonsense. The strike zone is the strike zone. The catcher could literally go play center field (is it technically allowed to throw a pitch without a catcher?) and it theoretically shouldn't change anything.

Only if the top 2 teams aren't in the same division. I don't think it matters for this year anyway, but it's definitely something that should be figured out in the offseason.

Except the higher seed isn't necessarily the team that had the better record (or at least it isn't in baseball where the division winners get the 4 highest seeds regardless of record).

Why is the playoff tiebreaker set to highest seed first and head to head record second? (it doesn't matter in my matchup since I think I lose in both cases anyway)

I felt like Pascal also took a huge step forward this year, maybe less so in the numbers, but in the decisions he made. Lots to like about the team. I was hoping Flynn would have shown a bit more.

He was okay in 2018, just injury shortened. I'd say he probably should have retired after 2019 in an ideal scenario.
