  1. May 5th @ Tampa vs RHP Drew Rasmussen Springer (2) - Pinango (5)- Jonn Okamoto (2) Jesus (3) Sosa (4) Varsho (2) Clement (5) - Abomination Gimenez (5) Valenzuela (4) Bench (10) - mphenhef
  2. It's anyone's guess. They could also option Schneider, although that doesn't help with the righty lefty balance. My preference would be for them to DFA Sosa but I'm not sure that will happen yet. They could also option Fluharty when they have to get one of the pitchers back on the roster, which might be sooner than later.
  3. Initially perhaps, but then there would be the pressure to extend the window and they'd probably turn into a typical bigger market team.
  4. The ump has already made mistakes on several calls. This is going to be one of those nights.
  5. Coming into today he had a 2.87 era and a 2.47 xFIP. It would be nice if he was going deeper and he needs to get the walks down, but he's been pretty good.
  6. I think the ump made contact with Valenzuela on the throw and that's why it was called back.
  7. He's almost flinching when the ball crosses the plate. He's either not seeing it very well or it's really gotten into his head atm.
  8. He's one that may really be helped when Kirk comes back due to his game calling.
  9. Ouch, poor Springer. He's definitely going to be out long enough to heal it fully this time.
  10. He probably needs to be at this point. We need to get him going. His bat, especially against lefties, is important for this team.
  11. I don't like either of those challenges by Schneider. They're too close to lose a challenge this early in the game.
  12. I can't believe that Barrett shot went in!
  13. That's an embarrassing lack of people behind home plate.
  14. I'll take Springer also
  15. He's starting to get much better command and movement on the splitter.
  16. Jimenez wasn't running terribly well. I wonder if the "general soreness" is in his legs?
