  1. Yeah, this is a good road start so far.
  2. Not in this league, I wouldn't be able to protect him. I actually really like how my SP is set up in this league, although the results are only mediocre so far this year. I might have some interest in the LOD if the price is cheap enough.
  3. If Wong doesn't stop and get into the rundown, he's safe at 2nd. He still had time to get back.
  4. The Sportsnet ticker on TV says 1:00 and 7:00. Other sites are saying 1:45 and 7:15 like you posted. (Just to let people know it might be a little earlier on the afternoon game)
  5. Lol Rays. They managed to turn a 1st and 3rd into two runs for the O's.
  6. We deserved that after all those cheap hits the Cards got all night.
  7. His average velocity is down something like 1 mph on the season last year, but it was also lower last April, then picked up in the Summer. I don't think there's anything to read from there.
  8. No idea why they pitched to him there.
  9. Cecil's young son keeps asking where's Josh (Donaldson). That's awesome lol.
  10. Yeah, sometimes those just happen. Pitch looked decent to me. Tip your hat to the batter.
  11. Terrible send, but what a great job by Coghlan!
  12. Is Morales even a downgrade defensively if we take into account that Carrera is clueless on where to throw the ball?
  13. If it makes you feel better, the Dodgers just lost when Turner got picked off 2nd to end the game while down by one.
  14. If I'm a manager and see bunt attempts like that, the player is practicing bunting the next morning until he's sore.
  15. 1 WAR capability (maybe), but what he adds with the bat and legs, he loses with the head.
  16. I really want to see Coghlan in the outfield in place of Carrera when Donaldson comes back. He's really only an emergency infielder, but is decent defensively in LF (at least the last two years). He's a very nice complementary player to a team.
  17. Last year only 16 qualified players broke the .900 OPS mark, 2015 only 11. That seems unlikely to me. If he maintains the plate discipline though and pitchers don't make an adjustment, I could see .850. I don't think he'll settle in that high, but he certainly wouldn't be the first guy to find himself and break out.
  18. I'm still not completely convinced he's a legit everyday player, but that is one hell of a tear he's on.
  19. Is it really necessary to have a commercial in between free throws???
  20. My keepers are tentatively something like: C - Ryan Johansen C/LW - Henrik Zetterberg C - Vincent Trocheck LW - Filip Forsberg LW - Jonathan Huberdeau LW/RW - Anthony Mantha RW - BLake Wheeler RW - Bobby Ryan D - Matt Dumba D - Dustin Byfuglien G - Marc-Andre Fleury G - Jacob Markstrom 3 of Bozak, Vanek, Smith, Strome, Nichushkin, Halak
  21. Big statement game. Now if we can just get Ibaka to hit some shots.
  22. He's been fantastic in two AAA starts. It might depend on how long Happ and Sanchez are out though, as to whether piecing a start or two together is more valuable than maintaining the depth at AAA for something more significant.
  23. Trade offers worthy of blocking a person's email address are always fun. Send them a comparable one in return.
  24. I don't think Pagan is necessary right now. See what we have in Coghlan, who *should* be a well above average LF (he's really just an emergency infielder). There really shouldn't be any panic after 12 games, just concern over approach at the plate. Maybe the new high performance department workouts has guys feeling out of sorts or something, who knows. Maybe it's just a general slump. It seems like a LOT of the game's top sluggers are having really, really bad starts to the season.
  25. I usually don't like fans booing their teams, but right now it's frankly deserved. Struggling is one thing, mental errors and lack of concentration is quite another.
