Votto would cost us a lot. He's actually earning his contract, and then some. I do like the idea of Dee Gordon a little. I think there could also be a possibility of Zobrist being available, if the Cubs make another move that adds some payroll. I wonder if Rogers would pony up to land Stanton, and how badly he's affecting a sale of the Marlins (if at all)? I still kinda wonder if Morales for Gardner would be a possibility, in spite of us being in the same division.

Lol, definitely looks like Bolsinger is also hurt. Gutting it out though.

    They're saying neck tightness.
  4. Abomination
Dunno. Looked like an oblique injury to me, which would probably suggest yes. I'm no medical professional though.

Injury (although it's a fair question about whether his performance was due to it, or mercifully ended by it)

We play Boston after. They probably want Stroman, Happ, and Sanchez in that series.
  7. Abomination
Well, that finishes any possibility of trading him. Looks like oblique to me.
  8. Abomination
I'd be interested in Casey Gillaspie

I don't understand the attraction of the press conferences. I mean, the fight itself, sure. Why do people find all the pre-fight trash talking so appealing?

I know it won't happen inter-division, but Morales for Gardner would be a pretty good fit for both teams right now.

Avila demonstrating how NOT to frame the ball there.

We've really made Verlander work, especially given it's a 1-0 game. 85 pitches with 0 outs in the 5th.

Man does that outfield look horrible. Could see some really funky bounces.

Doc was due to non-baseball related issues though, so I'm not sure it's fair to lump him into that. He probably WOULD have pitched well into his late 30's otherwise.

Sometimes it's hard to believe Correa is still only 22.

Tebow is starting to look like he might actually be a thing. The walk rate, etc are really incredible for someone who hasn't played for so long.

I name you my official Ang interpreter.
  18. Abomination
What are you looking for (for any of those players)?

I'll make everyone happy, and announce that I'm cutting Mark Appel. I'll also promote Newcomb. I feel like he's more likely to tank my ratios the rest of this year Given the flex keeper capability, it doesn't really matter whether he's on my MLB team or MiLB anyway.

He must need to prepare for an upcoming noodling contest. Damn those pesky baseball games! In all seriousness, hopefully everything is all right.

Not as bad in this league, where we don't use batting average. He still walks a ton, and hits for lots of power.
  23. Abomination
You should trade that crappy Acuna guy. Maybe he lands you a closer, if someone is willing to roll the dice.
  24. Abomination
    Confirmed.

Someone deserves a demotion for a few weeks imo. Needs to learn what consequences are for saying stupid things to your fans.
