    There's three outcomes. A home run, in which case it doesn't matter. A fly ball, in which case it's a double play if he ventures past 2nd. Off the wall, which is unlikely given the air time. The latter happened, and was relayed back almost instantly. I don't see how we fault Granderson on that.

    Smith had to hold up to make sure the ball wasn't caught (it was very close). It's too bad though, as Grandy was busting it out of the box and would have made 3rd easy. Morales was inexcusable though.

    Yeah, that wasn't a smart send with none out. If there was one out, or a poor outfielder, it might be different.

    Too bad Stro is on the shelf. This is where we'd see him pinch running.

    Our bullpen is actually 14 out of 30 in WAR, and has 11 wins to 3 losses on the season.

    I blame Osuna for screwing over the team when we need him. I blame Clippard for not throwing strikes. If they're gonna beat you, make them earn it.

    Diamondbacks lost some really key performers from last year. Not surprised they're struggling to score runs. I mean, they basically replaced JDM with Souza and Drury with, I don't know, Dyson maybe?

    Vladdy's Steamer projections are now up to 116 wRC+ with 8.3% walk rate, 14.4% k rate in the majors. That's just incredible for a guy in AA.

    Yeah, they've been outplayed, but the Cavs started getting lazy for a bit. Might at least make for a non-trivial finish to the game for once.
