  1. I took him in a DFS match to get some bigger bats in the lineup. I'm not wise.
  2. The one thing about the wildcard though is that it's very hard for teams to actually line up their ace for that one game.
  3. I think if baseball moved to a balanced schedule, we'd see less concern about trading within divisions. It's kinda rough to face a good prospect for half a decade or more, 18 times a year, that you gave up for a 2 month rental.
  4. He wouldn't be the primary piece, but mid to upper 90s with huge movement (part of his problem), and is controllable. He'd be a real nice by low candidate, and could probably be shifted to the pen if worse comes to worse. Not sure what the status of his shoulder is atm.
  5. I think it's unlikely we'd see a trade in our own division anyway. Something like the Angels for maybe Marsh and Meyer could be interesting though (I don't think we'd get Adell or Maitan in a deal).
  6. That Solarte home run had a 97% chance of being a hit. I wonder in exactly what parks something hit with that velocity and angle does NOT result in a hit (or home run for that matter)? Dodger stadium at night during a typhoon maybe?
  7. Things you can do in the future: If you use Chrome or Firefox, you should be able to create an account and have your bookmarks stored in the cloud. Barring that, if you've ever opened the spreadsheets while logged into Google, you should be able to see them in your Google Drive. I'd suggest starring them to easily find in the future.
  8. I've never seen a -19 score from a pitcher before in DK. Congrats to Blackburn for the dubious distinction.
  9. There sure are a lot of low scoring games today so far.
  10. Or how it works when a player is traded. Could the team that signed the contract keep the insurance contract as part of the deal somehow? Maybe the Rockies are collecting on Tulo lol.
  11. He's not gonna retire with 150M left on his contract. The rest of the year off might actually do him some good, and help the back issue heal more.
  12. I'll love it if we see more adaptability from the team.
  13. WTF was Maile looking for 3-2? That was right down the pipe!
  14. Placed (tied for) 1st in the FanDuel home run challenge again! Not much money, but I get my second ticket into the finals.
  15. He might have been stalling to make sure Oh was ready.
  16. FFS, that DP was laid out on a platter.
  17. I'm not so sure Smoak kept contact, but that was a fantastic play by him either way.
  18. Yeah, when you don't have good stuff, you'd better hit your spots. He didn't today.
  19. I think I tried that 2 weeks ago. I can't be sure, I've actively been trying to forget.
  20. I certainly didn't see that coming. I thought he MIGHT last 3 innings.
  21. Can't believe I got 153 points and didn't win! Good start for the corrections I made to my system though.
  22. We could have been swept by the Orioles, then had to play the Rays at the Trop.
  23. He was probably out, but impossible to overturn that with the angles we saw.
  24. He's lucky Cobb got a bunch of Ks. It could have been a hell of a lot worse.
