  1. I don't see it happening, but Burnes and Phillips would be an amazing haul.
  2. Maybe he should have worried less about his teammates and more about not giving up 3 run doubles to the opposing pitcher.
  3. Judge is no Pillar. Pillar would have caught that while simultaneously posing for a selfie with the fan.
  4. Chapman has his good fastball tonight. Just hit 104. Make that 3 at 104, then a slider at 93.
  5. At this point, all the other teams should just play their worst players against the warriors. Let them fall into really bad habits. Plus, I bet their fan attendance and viewership would drop with no competition.
  6. For 1/5.3 lol.
  7. LMAO! https://www.cnn.com/videos/sports/2018/07/02/australia-philippines-basketball-brawl-fiba-world-cup-asia-qualifiers-spt-intl.espn5-philippines
  8. Judge cashing in on Yankee Stadium specials shouldn't be allowed lol. That was practically a pop fly.
  9. It looks like Yahoo's StatTracker now includes extra info under the pitchers, rather than just the pitch count. It's pretty nice when you're looking at various games at a glance.
  10. We MIGHT get one of the two for that.
  11. I could see moving Oh as well. That cheap option, combined with how he's pitching atm, could potentially bring something intriguing. Maybe package him with Happ.
  12. Not for younger players.
  13. To be fair, he was deep and moving to his left. That makes it basically impossible to get any momentum behind the throw.
  14. wtf? If you're gonna do that, put Smoak at 3rd.
  15. Borucki's stuff looks a lot better today (more movement, sharper break on the curve). He's benefiting from a big strike zone, but this is great to see. Reality for him is probably somewhere in between these two starts.
  16. There was another angle they showed on the broadcast.
  17. That's 3 home runs for Hicks tonight.
  18. This was not the night to take a chance in picking Price in DFS. I was hoping his performance the last 2 months would trump his struggles against the Yankees. Nope. The Yankees are continuing to murder the ball even after he's left.
  19. Yes!!! Let the Rockets or Warriors deal with him in the playoffs.
  20. Not if we're out of it this year, or have to buy those innings off the FA market over the winter. Obviously I'd prefer a blue chip prospect, but I don't think we're gonna get that for Happ as a rental. The Rays do when they (probably) sell off Archer at the deadline. Maybe we get one if we package Happ along with a good reliever or two.
  21. If it is noise, then it's the Yankee Stadium part rather than the road split, which is extremely close to his career road xFIP. However, his walk and k rates are dramatically and more importantly consistently worse at Yankee Stadium. Maybe it's the mound, maybe it's in his head. Regardless, I see him as a sub 4 xFIP pitcher, with upside, on a reasonable contract and an extra year of control. That's probably worth at least 15M/60 next year on the FA market, and he'll probably make about 9M unless he has a killer 2nd half.
  22. Yeah, he shoots the 3 decently well (even though he doesn't take a lot) and is a very creative playmaker. I think it would help diversify our offensive looks a lot, which seems to be something the team wants (and needs) to do. If Lowry and FVV are on the floor with him, they can rain 3s all day It would also ensure a high quality playmaker on the floor at all times, for both the starters and bench, even if there's an injury or foul trouble.
  23. He really doesn't. He's been very good on the road this year (3.4 xFIP), and is a sub 4 xFIP pitcher prior to this year. He just sucks at Yankee Stadium for whatever reason. Add in the fact he's only making 6.5M this year and arbitration next year, and he could be a very real asset.
