There was a SB in an earlier game today with similar circumstance. The runner clearly beat the throw, but overslid the bag. Should it count as a SB and, I don't know, pickoff or something, or a CS?
It would be interesting to go to 2 outfielders and 5 infielders when Stroman pitches. He gives up such a small percentage of fly balls, you'd probably come out well ahead even if a few outfield hits go for an extra base.
I don't mind some passion on the field. It's the twitter crap and stuff off the field that bothers me personally. Still, I'll take that any day over other headlines players make.
You should play the home run challenge every day. It's free, fast to enter (seconds really), and you can win both daily, weekly, and in an end-of-year contest. I've won a couple of bucks so far, along with several tickets, and entries to the finals.
Fanduel has an interesting little promo next week. Apparently they're gonna put money in random accounts each day (anywhere from $100 to $5,000), usable only on that day, and not withdrawable. Any not used disappears that night.
Check your accounts every morning to see if you get lucky!

Edited: apparently money can appear up to 4pm est, so maybe check around then.
Meh, I'm fine with that ruling. By the time the ump figured out whether he thought it was a hit or not, the ball was already coming back in. Probably impossible to advance at that point.
I'd give my system props on that, if it hadn't managed to only cash on 2 out of those 4 I posted above in spite of overwhelmingly favorable odds. It owes me big atm.
We should create a board top-10 list of the most embarrassing but somewhat realistic ways we think Sanchez may have hurt his finger (then tweet it to him of course).
