  1. Sanchez has to be the most awkward player in baseball. It seems like every part of his body is fighting its neighbours every time he moves.
  2. Might be the opposite. Kirk was great (at least behind the plate) with them until 2 or 3 weeks ago.
  3. I'm positive he's injured. Something is preventing him from getting around on the ball properly. Either that or he needs to see an optometrist.
  4. Cade Anderson is cruising in his debut.
  5. Cease is at 95 pitches through 6. I doubt they'll let him finish it. Still pretty cool.
  6. Interestingly, Vladdy has 2 of the 4 hardest hit balls today and has the 4 fastest swings.
  7. I wonder when those pigeons in the outfield are going to come into play. You have to figure it'll happen at some point.
  8. This ump has had a really good strike zone today.
  9. They haven't said. He called the catcher out, manager and trainer came out, and he walked off. Didn't see anything obvious as to what happened.
  10. Grant Holmes has a no hitter through 6.
  11. If I'm the Rays, I'm thinking about intentionally walking Kirk here.
  12. If guys are going on the DL we could probably call Pinango back up. He's on fire right now in AAA. Might be time for Kasevich to come up also.
  13. Not particularly enjoying the Matt Waldron experience since he joined the Jays.
  14. Why the hell were we pitching to Rice at all? Walk him and set up the double play.
  15. We were 2 outs away from beating them last year in the World Series in spite of what most people would consider a massive talent difference.
  16. Fluharty has pitched 3 of the last 4 games. Miles has thrown 2 of the last 3, and they're trying to protect his arm. They just don't have a lot of options for today.
  17. The run was unfortunate, but there were other mistakes on that play too. There was no chance of getting the runner at the plate. The throw should have come in to SS or 3B and kept the runner at 2nd. As for Little, he's actually been somewhat decent since coming back up. The walks are still WAY too high, although a few of those have been intentional. We don't have many guys available today. Is Sewald or Waldron against lefties a better option? I kind of don't think so.
  18. The slow motion shot of Rogers releasing that slider was fascinating.
  19. I'd say the baseball gods are against us today, but then again we started Taillon and SWR against Gray and we're somehow winning after 7.
  20. I wonder how long it'll take for some team to add that to their playbook?
