Yep. Exactly. I have zero issue with teams picking up on a pitcher tipping pitches or relaying signs from second. There's really no difference in cheating between the catcher sending signs to the pitcher and a player on the field decoding them and sending them to the batter. Doing it with technology during the game though, that's a definite no. MLB needs to get their act together and figure out a way to stop it, as well as dramatically increase the penalties associated with doing so.

It might have more to do with the roster spot as opposed to nickel and diming him. They'd probably prefer someone more likely to give innings.

We played great. We lost the game, but down the number of players we are, on a back-to-back, I think we served notice we're legit contenders.

Lindblom actually sounds kind of interesting. I wouldn't mind taking a flier on Jacob Barnes for the pen either, and he'd be controllable for 3 years. -

I'm fine with Wheeler. I just don't want him at the price I think he'll get. I was pretty clear about that.

Salazar shouldn't cost a ton. If he goes down, he goes down. I don't really care if it's rotation or BP, but he probably won't sign to be a pen arm. I don't really want Wheeler. I think he's going to cost a lot and never live up to the arm. I mean, if he comes "cheap", of course. I feel like he's looking at 5/100 or more though.

Ryu and Salazar would look good imo. Of course I'd like Cole, but I'd be pretty thrilled with getting those two.

Pretty much all of those projections look laughably low to me. Smith and Roark might be accurate.

This sounds like a terrible idea. We need at least one of the pieces coming back for Giles to be as close as possible to a sure thing, preferably in an area of need.

I actually wouldn't mind us trading for Calhoun and picking up the option. 1/14 for a guy who's been between 2.1 and 3.5 WAR in 5 of the last 6 years seems pretty good. Could probably flip him too.

Kluber doesn't fit our timeline, and I doubt he'd be cheap anyway.
