  1. Snell vs. Schwarber et al today. Today is the day he gives up a run.
  2. and are the Jays selling based on his ERA?
  3. Blue Jays 138 wRC vs. LHP, Mariners 118 wRC vs. LHP. Bet the over?
  4. Of the top 15 CF's in baseball right now by fWAR...the Jays had 3 of them in their org during AA's tenure.
  5. I want to see the formula
  6. First thing I thought of when I looked at the box score from work. Nothing like putting people into situations where failure is all but guaranteed. Setting yourself up with better depth in the off-season. Having a lefty and righty utility guy that can play up the middle.
  7. 1993...lost 8 in a row in Mid September, then won 14 of the next 16 and lost the last game of the season 12-1. Fans in Toronto pretty much forget how great the NL race was that year.
  8. Which is exactly what happens when people listen to minor league scouting reports on defense. Assumptions get made based on size, a single game or series look, or just misinterpreting. Marcel Ozuna had the exact same reports (above average athleticism should play well in RF). Trout if he stayed in the minors long enough to get a negative report probably would have similar reports. At this point I think the smart assumption is that he'll remain a CF.
  9. You now how hard it is to lead a team to 103 wins and not make the playoffs.
  10. Said to be very good but there will be negative reports because of his arm (it's weak to average supposedly) and that he might be bigger than a traditional CF. He's in Lansing so several of his games will be on MILB.tv. I just don't have my subscription anymore.
  11. I'd say that leaving Ole Miss the week of the Bama game without telling the coaches shows a lack of maturity, but I really don't give a s*** about character issues. He's got talent, and I think the Jays gave him some kind of a 40 man in September guarantee to get him to leave.
  12. f*** yus, sruck me sock! I am Japaneeeeeese
  13. I'd think they bring him in to the pen before completely dumping him. He's still put up good numbers against LHB. Only reason they haven't moved him to the pen yet is likely that he's built like a workhorse starter.
  14. not that he ever hit RHP like this with the Jays...but still they have kept him to just 10% of his PA's against Lefties, in comparison to 24% with the Jays.
  15. Hoffman got nailed in the back pretty solidly on a comeback'er
  16. I went from Longoria, Carpenter, Santana and Seager as my 3B...to Franco playing there now.
  17. http://www.youswear.com/index.asp?language=Annoying+cat
  18. Dinger (who is also very easy to deal with) just want to say thanks for negotiating and you tugged at my Rays heart strings. It came down to how many pools i already have the pitchers you offered in.
  19. He's a 902 area code...that's Acadian to me The deal is: Noah Syndergaard Tyler Glasnow Chris Collabello pick 19 first round waiver for Evan Longoria #66 5th round waiver will be official soon. I have to make moves on my farm to make space
  20. TCA has been the easiest guy in the pool to deal with for me. You just need to speak Acadian.
  21. I'm going through that right now I've got someone http://news.bme.com/wp-content/uploads/200705081558-pix1.jpg offering me two high upside guys. But I've got someone else http://www.getoutdoorscolorado.org/sites/default/files/activity_images/colorado-rockies-dinger.jpg offering me some proven commodities who have little upside and one nice piece. I should just create a poll.
  22. Gruber is in sensitivity training...it's just not working
  23. Hilarious. Does this mean we should be jumping on the Scrabble 2 bandwagon?
