Never saw this before...it's the exact same dynamic as a GM and Asst. GM. They just had to give title increases to both of them to avoid compensation. -

He has the same ERA as 3 time Cy winner Clayton Kershaw...you cannot quit on him. True story I ran into an FO executive from the Rays tonight and two them bet at the start of the season whether or not Sanchez would have more walks than K's this season. Good to know other front offices know nothing

The good news is that it gives Bellatti a chance to pitch...probably not a stretched out starter just yet though.

The Jays gave him 178 games behind the plate over 5 years (along with 37 games at 1B, 24 at 3B and 1 in LF) and even sent him to Venezuela to better learn 3B. The fans had great reason to believe he couldn't be a catcher.

I had a car last night so it was sober trading. And yes pretty boring. Yet we still stayed out later (and got the same amount of action) than the guy on the Wednesday date.
