Part of having an "okay" bench is using them best in situations where they can be successful. Injuries have "forced" the Jays into bad situations...or maybe bad planning has.
Just get a tingling sensation...then when I finish I look for your posts.
Seems to me that the Jays now just need Goins to have 8 DRS every month. Should be easy.
Thinking has never been his strength. This is the man who walked into a GM without an agent and provided a number that he wants to sign for that even casual fans couldn't understand why he'd agree to that number...and he did it twice.
I love the talk still about the National League and still talking about how 7, 8, 9 is weaker in the NL. If you take pitcher and DH stats out the National League outscores the AL. With them in it's now 0.05 runs per game difference now.
It's a double header of two teams that lack depth...anything could happen really. No way I'd bet on either team in any game today (actually Jays might be a value price in both).
probably a bit more by the end. Impromptu day games with a night game later isn't really a great recipe for a crowd. Especially since the weather today doesn't look great either.
Harper is still a fastball hitter mainly. Part of his breakout this season is that he is seeing more. Not to say he isn't a great hitter...I'm still a Bryce will be a HOF'er, but a guy like Dickey is a good match-up for him (at least the first couple times around)
