    So turning a bad post into a legitimate conversation. I heard today media people's saying that the team "has to" trade from the prospect capital to improve the pen. My question is does this move the needle enough to be worth it? And if yes who do you deal for? I have predicted that the Jays make a move for Daniel Bard all year. It is the Rockies they will throw Givens in for free. I don't know what Bard would cost but at 36 he isn't really helping the Rockies but has another year of ARB still. Outside of a move where you get a multi year pen arm I don't think dealing too many assets is the right move

    I talked about this recently about the LOD...playoff teams should be overpaying (in risk or ceiling) to improve their team. Org was great to deal with for this reason. I went for Bohm ... He wanted to keep his depth. We came to this. I hope he wins it all this year

    I'm just saying that it's probably a bigger safety issue using over not using. Genesis Cabrera had stuff on his forearm when he hit Bryce. Same when Pillar was hit. Vince V when he hit that pitcher too.

    Bergen. Can we post tiktok's here? I'm not about to research that. But if you are on TikTok go check out Hey_Commy he has video evidence of hundreds of pitchers (and catchers...Gary Sanchez). Bergen is the only Jay he has.

    It is kind of interesting that both the Jays named as "cheaters" have not been very good. I don't buy into the safety stuff they are trying to claim now though as it was 3 or 4 guys using a substance that had fastballs get away from them and injure hitters.

    I think the biggest thing to read into the Deck profile was that he was on a downswing heading into the draft. 2 months earlier he was projected to go top 5. Nola didn't even throw a curve in college. It developed into one of the best in baseball. It's a crapshoot. There is no first round profile that always fails though...well catcher but that's another thing.

    No Canadian Network was willing to pay Canada Soccer money to air all their stuff. This is the future of tier three sport. If the big boys don't want to pay for the CPL, then a company like MediaPro will, and won't sell you the handpicked games the networks want, unless they pay a stupid price.

If these f***ing idiots are going to claim that managerial decisions cost a team 5 wins I'm going to counter that by giving Charlie a win back when they win despite him doing differently than the fanbase would have. Charlie's job is closer to backroom masseuse...keep these boys happy and ready to do their thing and if he wants to flip a coin to make decisions the record will be the same
