    I assume BP hasn't put out their Boston list. Seriously though, even being in Low A before his 18th BDay, most sites say a 2020 debut. With the boredom of people in this league he'll either be a bust or traded 11 times by that time (every time he walks 6 guys)

    Well it's not a list...but there is this Connor Reed (Connecticut): That's a killer trio at the top for Boston. Where do you potentially see them in the Top 100? Can they all crack the top 30 - or does Benintendi need a longer track record? Alex Speier: I’m not involved in the top 100 conversations, so don’t have a good feel for this. Don’t exclude Espinoza from that group, however — I heard cases made for all four of Moncada, Devers, Benintendi, and Espinoza as the best prospect in the Sox’ system.

    actually I've been on the phone with Lennox Lewis a lot lately, he can teach me old English. My internship with Boxing Ont. is over but I'm continuing on as a committee member with the Olympic fundraiser. Have to get all the Olympians from Ontario out to the golf tourney and Hall of Fame banquet. I know you are a big boxing guy...I'll sign you up for a foursome now. As for my internship I'm now with the City of Mississauga working on the Ontario Summer Games (or Games Ontario as they are about to go through a rebranding.

    They are tired of signing bullpen guys...so they are going to build their own super pen out of top starting pitching prospects. Then deal whichever ones are closing for a never ending supply of starting pitching depth to use in the bullpen.

    Sounds about right. Pitchers that went in the 5th through 7th rounds in the DDL draft: 81. Jordan Zimmerman 83. Craig Kimbrel 84. Kris Medlen 86. Brandon Morrow 89. Mat Latos 92. Yovani Gallardo 93. Matt Harvey (who we probably all thought was way too early) 94. Roy Halladay 100. James Shields 101. Josh Johnson 102. Adam Wainwright (First pitcher I took) 104. Lance Lynn 106. Jeff Samardzija 107. Shelby Miller 109. Trevor Bauer 110. Ian Kennedy 118. Jake Peavy 119. Tim Lincecum 121. Tyler Skaggs 124. Jon Lester 125. Jarrod Parker 130. Brett Anderson 133. Trevor Cahill 138. Joel Peralta While a great pick in this range can do wonders for your team...blowing one in this range isn't a deal breaker so taking a seemingly healthy Dodgers starter at this point doesn't seem like a bad move.

    I'm not sure if this was posted already at some point but they are building apartments over Lansing Stadium (was done to pay for upgrades that the Lansing government didn't have) http://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2015/12/29/lansing-lugnuts-baseball-stadium-apartments?xid=si_social Rental costs according to the Gillespie (the builder) site I'm hoping they keep one or two for short term rentals as I love Lansing.

    I think that there was some thoughts that there would be confusion that wording it a "One year deal, with a two year player option" would look like this Year 1 $12M Year 2 Player picks up option Year 3 player opts out. Which is of course not what it the contract is. I think in this case assuming the media and fans are dumb isn't that far of a stretch.

    No way I have Tulo in my top 40 anymore. As someone who chased him in drafts for years. He hasn't hit all of my warning signs yet...but he's moving into that territory (mind you EE hit just about every bad warning sign by June last year, and he recovered well)

    Dodgers aren't so free spending. They would like to get under the tax threshold for one year at least

    But there is a lot you can do away from work that can get you suspended. I worked in Investigations for the investment industry and there was a whole list of things that we have to investigate for members. From obvious stuff like arrests and bankruptcies, but also things like the police being called to their house, sending money overseas, certain medical issues.

    I completely understand many of my classmates who can name 3rd liners on almost every CHL team loving this tournament, I also can understand people who just love hockey and want to see entertaining hockey as it's that. But I know so many people who never watch junior hockey, and suddenly are repeating Bob McKenzie about the building of the Canada team being an issue, and not leaving their house cause the game is on. Funny, many of these same people became sudden die hard Jays fans this year too.

    I'm odd. I lose all Nationalism when it comes to hockey. I did pretty well betting against Canada in hockey in the past.
