    Isn't over 50% of the Indians roster homegrown...as compared to about 30% of the Jays? I'd guess that the Indians are top 5 in the league in homegrown talent, behind KC, St. Louis, Mets and Giants.

    Chisenhall I'd say that with a bad draft history (and most saber friendly/cost efficient organizations really do have bad draft histories) it's more impressive that he had four 90 win seasons. So no draftees, no free top tier free agents...the systems must work

    cash in on a top prospect is different than give away. All most have said is that his trade value might be higher than his real value. The hatred that some have built out of it comes from having to defend why.

    why do you assume he's smart...racist! I love that he played in so many countries (China, Spain, Venezuela, Netherlands and Australia), traditional markets are being mined dry...guys like Kepler and Gasparini are still oddities but I think Europe will produce 1 or 2 legit prospects every few years.

    Do we all? His bat and D are right about where I'd expect them and repeating top baserunning numbers is tough to do. I think Drew Stubbs is the only one I can think of recently who had a BsR over 8.0 for three straight years. Not to mention he had 34 infield hits last year, of which very few were in Rogers Centre...and most came against LHP which fewer teams were pitching against the Jays last year.

    He asked me to delete his account via PM. I banned him as I didn't want his account gone and I have a bad history with deleting accounts. This isn't a joke, whatever happened before (I think it was during the draft lottery) has him not wanting to be here.

    So I assume that GD's relationship with Team North takes him out of the running for Silvergun's team (he's serious by the way)...who's next on the list Edit: GD says he's willing to quickly stab North in the back and sodomize him while he's down. He would like to be considered for SG's team.

    Not bad just over 1,200 miles in the end. I've mapped out several and have done mini minor league trips a few times. Nothing with this much travel. I know Chicago is more expensive to stay on the weekend but it's such a great city that you should be there on a weekend. Adding in Kane County on May 4 (less than an hour from Chicago to see them play Lake County). Isan Diaz, Marcus Wilson, Alex Young and Sergio Alcantara playing with Kane, and can't think of anyone for Lake County.

    And suddenly Storen is likable to many Jays fans.

    He had some HR issues in the second half and gave up 11 runs in August (gave up three HR's...which is magnified as a late inning reliever of course). He also struck out 29 in 21 innings. Also he just got replaced by Pap.
