  1. Wait...does this count as the long standing boldest of bold predictions that Grant admits he's wrong?
  2. Other than it sold some tickets the: Josh Johnson, Emilio Bonifacio, John Buck, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes for Henderson Alvarez III, Anthony DeSclafani, Yunel Escobar, Adeiny Hechavarria, Jake Marisnick, Jeff Mathis and Justin Nicolino. Is still one of the worst for me, obviously not as a standalone but because because of where it started to where it ended up.
  3. Shouldn't hockey be over?
  4. you aren't hitting any of the Group Sales discounts at that number (I think it's 25 for that) but the no service fees make it probably best to buy from them. Plus you get on their list at that point. You'll end up getting sent some offers for next year.
  5. Pretty sure he's caught me.
  6. Blue Jays bullpen is top 3 in fWAR Springer is the team fWAR leader
  7. He was supposedly miserable here, and he's at the best spot to revive some value and get traded again.
  8. Now it's an End Thread
  9. it was my 1st for that guy I had never heard of until you put him up for trade.
  10. Too much positivity has never been a good look on this board. Lets throw the wet blanket on things (have fun with it). I'll start Charlie Montoyo is still our manager
  11. I don't think that there is any chance that those three put up 13.4 wins. I also don't think the three we had last year will either. The difference in this season should be an extra 200ish innings from Manoah and Berrios. A hopefully 200 extra (healthy) PA's from Springer, and not having to waste him in a DH spot. Biggio and Espinal in positions where they can help the team. And a good enough start to add at the deadline without having to come from outside a playoff spot would be hopeful too.
  12. Would have you taken mine?
  13. screw that...give them all Rep 1 Sports (Acuna's agent)
  14. I happened to have listed them out for my side BJMB group. 12 loonie hot dog nights Opening night hat Springer bobblehead Hello kitty day Bo Flow bobblehead Peanuts bobblehead Chewbacca messenger bag Berrios jersey Green hat for country day Teo bobblehead Pride towel Ryu jersey Yoga at the park Vintage t-shirt Player designed t-shirt Canada Day Springer jersey (why not Romano) Vlad & Dad bobblehead Gausman bobblehead Carnival bag giveaway Floppy hat Sitcom night (stupid Friends shirt) Victory Vlad Bobblehead 1992 bomber jacket College night (group of 250 or more get a school branded Jays hat) Spiderman Jays figurine Vest giveaway
  15. I have that bet covered too. Also, how far back to we have to look towards them giving it to a 4th place team member?
  16. Speaking of Marketing, the Jays are f***ing killing it in the promotions area. Seriously I've never seen so many game day promotions (and a lot of different partners, showing that businesses want to be affiliated). Plus 12 $1 hot dog nights Now they announce a "get all 12 April games (500 level) for $59".
  17. I have Devers winning MVP.
  18. I think the Rays market efficiency has finally dried up. The better bet on them is 2.85 to not make the playoffs. Even with the 3rd wildcard if you think they are going under 90, you may as well take the extra juice on this bet.
  19. Depth, roster construction, flexibility all a huge edge for 2022. I actually think because of expectations 2022 has more volitility. The Jays could 2013 with this team, not make a move and I'd still be confident in 2023 though. Hard to believe that the expected payroll for this team is less than 2017.
  20. I should apologize. In my head I remember a first, and Walker both in there and was waiting on a counter to add Volpe. I really do love Jordan Walker though
  21. Keeping Espinal is pretty big. We have some depth in the infield right now. Love this deal.
  22. You mean September Kelenic? I understand it, he's super young and 2020 season not existing f***ed up a lot of development. I would never call him a bust...but in our pool guys sour on people after a bad week sometimes. There is enough kinks on this guy that I would think most would be scared off. I will back off now and jerk off to my low upside prospects
  23. You are probably correct, but I consider Jordan Walker to be better than Kelenic and House. I was waiting for a counter offer to another guy who I was willing to part with. I also overrate Moncada. I have no pitching pieces to offer.
  24. I really thought my initial offer was miles better than that. I know some people really believe in Kelenic still but we are talking about a top 5 dynasty asset in Bichette.
  25. Best chance to get Borucki through waivers is in the first month of the season, when there are loads of players on waivers. Good chance he'll start with the big club and then get waived.
