O2 posts for the first time in like 2 years and Boxy is his first reply. So fitting. -
l have a tendency to overuse that word. I can think of three other instances 1. Tim Collins will never be a closer 2. Travis Snider will win multiple MVP's 3. and last week I think I used it for James Paxton will never had a 2.5 win season for the Yankees.

I just really don't believe in what the Braves already have. They had zero offensive injuries last year (Freeman, Albies, Inciarte and Markakis all had over 675 PA's). Every pitcher out-performed their FIP and especially xFIP. They killed their division and were 4 games under .500 and like negative 30 runs against the rest of baseball. Acuna is a monster and they benefit from a full season from him. Freeman is Freeman and is always Freeman. Albies and JD are the wildcards. Albies could be the 70 wRC+ guy that he was after July 1st or could be the 6 win player he was on pace for. But with that said unless the Phillies go out and get a boatload they are still better than everyone in the NL East, although I expect a bounce back from Washington. In the end when Atlanta opens the over/under at 89.5 bet the s*** out of the under.

Braves trade Camargo for pitching or keep him as super utility and JD injury insurance? NL East is probably the worst it's ever been. As average as the Braves are, they will compete. So may as well do short-term deals like this for potential marginal improvements.

The Dwight Howard situation could get pretty interesting. He does a 16 year old and there was almost nothing. But multiple relationships with transgender girls should draw the worst out of NBA fans.

Bell, Marwin Gonzalez as well. But I still agree with Glory here. It's not that big of a deal. Braves, Rockies, Dodgers, Marlins, Pirates, Padres, Cards, Orioles, Indians, Royals, Angels, Yankees, Rays, and Jays all at 40. Meaning if they want to make a pick they have to drop a player before December 12th. Then add in that Riley Ferrell, Tyler Jay (he could still be a dominant lefty specialist), Cody Ponce, Josh Ockinney, Max Schrock, Rob Whalen, Richie Martin, Marcus Wilson, Sandro Fabien, Jake Gatewood, Jordan Johnson, are all guys (along with Romano) who are being mentioned as guys expected to be picked. No way Jays lose more than 2...and I doubt more than 1.

Love Beltre but I bet he comes up short of 1st ballot. He was fan friendly but for years was not media friendly. They pushed so hard for him in 2004 for MVP (which was Bonds .609 OBP year) and he just wouldn't play ball with the media (even saying that they should vote for Bonds).
