    I think we need an explanation of how they got on the ballot in the first place. 2 different committees thought Baines was acceptable. That first committee thought Joe Carter deserved merit for consideration

    Her arguments for why it's bad for baseball were better than Boxy's. The arbitration process will probably have to change as the management changes how they pay players. Arbitration follows legal precedents and the "Comparable" process. I had a chance to sit in on a mock hockey arbitration (it was a competition between Brock and York). At the end the NHLPA and a team lawyer talked about all the parts that were inadmissible. i really thought it was some of the better points made which weren't allowed.

    There appears to be very little connection between Statman and Carlos Danger. Statman was a Rogers user, Carlos Danger is not. Carlos Danger uses his real name in his email address and it completely checks out as a real person. Statman was banned in October 2018 and Carlos Danger created their profile in 2016. Just drop it please!

    I really don't think Baines induction matters. Voters hate the veterans committee. Edgar was getting in this year regardless. This is what I hate about the voting. If Edgar wasn't good enough for you 2 years ago...he shouldn't be now.

    I'm oddly okay with Visquel getting votes (as long as he doesn't get in) at least he was the best in the game at something for a prolonged period of time. His defense was so good that he stayed in the league for 10,000 PA's despite being a below average hitter. I'm all ranted out about Vazquez from my 2016 rants.

P.S. breaks in Football games are okay because there aren't games 7 days a week for 8 months of the year.
