    I've been saying for a while now that I have a lot more confidence in the Sox F.O. to f*** this up. The talent level is possibly too high for it to happen in the near future, but a rash of injuries and you never know. i do agree that I've almost never met a Sox fan I like, but I respect a really talented team.

    Vas Deferens said "Sale cheerleading like he's in WWE" and Buck has twice given Sale credit for turning the game around by "rallying the troops". Everyone here just blames Roberts.

    It was 2 games I always laugh when announcers talk about momentum like it's a real thing

    As much as I enjoyed having 2 games at once (despite having to be at work at 7am this morning) I think this game sealed that something will be done. Think about it from the MLB point of view. Player injury risk is huge, hurts ratings, and the broadcastor loses out on revenue (Fox said the final 6 innings they did not collect ad revenue, just repeated ads for free). I just hope they change the set up from man on second to something else.

    I think the Sox will sign a few of their own FA's (Betts and Xander specifically) and throw huge money at several FA pitchers. They will be a $300M+ top heavy, no depth team by 2021. They won't have Theo to bail them out this time.

    Red Sox 2011 draft was 19. Barnes 26. Swihart 36. Owens 40. JBJ 172. Betts 292. Shaw Not exactly the order you'd figure but a pretty damn good year.

    Yet Doug Melvin remains the favourite. How are the Wilpon's allowed to make decisions. It's insane they would be able to interview the agent of a current player though (3 actually, DeGrom, Cespedes and Tebow). I'd love to see Bloom get the job as that would leave my friend as number 2 with the Rays.
