  1. Exactamente, no has sido relevante por años.
  2. Honestly that sounds like one of the most depressing things ever. I understand wanting to go for your favourite players. But I just don't think being there for hearing speeches about how much this would have meant to Roy just seems like something I'd pass on.
  3. Best Overall Poster: I don't think we have anyone that stands out in all aspects of posting anymore. I'll give to P2F for his overall contribution and distribution of information. Funniest Poster: Between Laika and J4L19. Very different types of humour here. I'll give J4L the nod based on the fact that I think he needs this more. Nicest Poster: Probably me. I have to put up with so much s*** on this board and never complain. Best Foreign Poster: Terminator Dumbest Poster: Jim Canuck Most out of touch poster: Olerud - He isn't stupid or anything. Just stuck in his posting ways Best Female Poster: LittleMoon did a solid job on the World Cup thread. Best New Poster/Rookie Of The Year: MikeM (although I'm sure I voted for him last year and he's been around since 2015) Comeback poster of the year: LTBF, Funny how a non baseball thread makes you see people in a different light. Most Annoying Poster: GeorgiaPeach. We won't see him for months than he comes in and starts a big argument over someone questioning his commitment to a league Best Troll: Todd (even though he's probably not a troll) Best Mod: First year I won't vote for myself. BTS has done well and even reads the really s***** threads. Best infrequent poster: Twisted Logic. I'm not a fan of his posting but now that he only does the Draft thread I like him better. Thread of the year: I can't remember what i did earlier today. Best new board meme: Justin Upton Upside Biggest disappointment (decent poster that slipped): silvergun Worst Overall Poster: WAMCO Worst Troll: The mods are so good now that there are no bad trolls - So I'll give it to the Russian Bots Best BJMB fantasy player: Jaysblue. The guy is always there it seems.
  4. Expand 2 teams, 8 divisions of 4. Go to the NFL playoff format (top 2 teams get byes) with a best of 5 first round I tried to create new divisions but I hate every possibility.
  5. OKC needs a team (by far the biggest financial industry presence without a team), I like Charlotte but they just built their stadium and I don't think you could add enough seats to retro-fit it. If we are talking about expansion it would need to be 2 teams and I'd probably go Portland.
  6. but because the French don't give a s*** about baseball it makes it the worst market ever. They f***ed up last time by removing English Radio and trying to force feed it as a French team and they lost out on the rest of Canada as fans. That won't happen this time at least as SN or TSN will be around to not let it that happen. It still will end up with bad ratings for both after a few years if they bring them back.
  7. I can't wait for the Canadian anger when Vladdy plays for the DR instead of Canada in the WBC.
  8. I see several laughing
  9. It seems f***ed up that Homer Bailey has 10 and 5 rights. 10 starts in 5 years maybe.
  10. That change did make teams pay a capital gains tax every time they added a more expensive player in trade so it's possible. But I still don't think they just hand Tulo money. He'll just remain on the bi-weekly team payroll for the next two years.
  11. I was on the Axis Power side.
  12. How is it that 18 year olds are ready for the NHL and NBA but never the MLB. If American kids could sign at 16 I think we'd see the ageism in the MLB further itself.
  13. Rays also got Cole Sulser in the deal. Insane K/BB ratio (14.09k to 2.51bb) last year over 50 innings.
  14. San Fran is a beautiful city. Probably one of America's top 5 and one of the most frequented by Japanese tourists. They have a J-Town district and several Japanese festivals. They are always in play when Japanese players choose.
  15. ugh, $35M over 2 years vs. $26M in 1 year, and get the worse player likely seems extra stupid. Really banking on EE to bounce back and have a good start (good start and EE...I know it's funny)
  16. $52.5M for Santana remaining. $26M for EE. Trade at the deadline of EE can't get a prospect probably but will get you out of some of that money
  17. So what was the rule/contract negotiation that made Luciano eligible?
  18. Great catch and a rule I wasn't aware of. I know teams do stash injured players often, so I wonder if there is a cash deal which isn't publicized in year 2. Kevin Gadea with the Rays is an example. Nick Burdi as well. Julian Fernandez was a selection last year, didn't play and was now claimed on waivers by the Marlins, I haven't read anything about them having to play him or he goes back to the Giants.
  19. terrible joke and 100% incorrect. I'll send you PM with your warning.
  20. I meant picked. Yes 90% of all rule 5 players are returned or stashed on the DL.
  21. maybe he needs Tommy John. Picking him means that he's now on the 40 man and can be put on the 60 day DL. Which would mean 3 years of development and then out of options.
  22. Elvis has arrived. Orioles: Richie Martin (SS, Oakland). Martin hit .300 with 25 stolen bases last season in AA. He was a first-round pick of the Athletics in 2015. Royals: Sam McWilliams (P, Tampa Bay). 4.38 ERA over three levels last season, with most of his time spent in AA, where he made 15 starts. White Sox: Jordan Romano (P, Toronto) Marlins: Riley Ferrell (P, Houston) Tigers: Reed Garrett (P, Texas) Reds: Connor Joe (C, Dodgers) Rangers: Chris Ellis (P, St. Louis) Giants: Travis Bergen (P, Toronto) Blue Jays: Elvis Luciano (P, Kansas City) Phillies: Drew Jackson (SS, Dodgers) Diamondbacks: Nick Green (P, Yankees) Mariners: Brandon Brennan (P, Colorado) Giants (2nd pick): Drew Ferguson (OF, Houston) That concludes the MLB portion of the Rule 5 Draft Jays did lose 2. I apologize to all now as I said they would lose Romano and that is it.
  23. I don't think MLB is ready to buy in on the value of the 5 inning pitcher, who happens to be 35.
  24. Morton to the Rays...the most Rays pitcher ever
