    Over the top much...It's the Hall of Fame. They have names spelled wrong. I've had dumps bigger than the town it's in and Harold Baines is in it.

    Guy just had his best fantasy season at 35. I see zero reason why he won't be elite at 36...as for him pitching well into his 40s. Don't care...that is for 2024 Hurl to worry about. In this league i weigh this year 90% future years 10%

    Two years from now will be the key one for Bonds and Clemens. Next year will be Larry Walker’s last year push, Schilling with helium and Jeter’s an automatic to take a vote from virtually everyone. Over the past couple years the trend has been for everyone to vote for 10 people and most do so. So 4 went in, only 1 new great candidate to vote for, McGriff’s 169 up for grabs...if Bonds and Clemens can grab 30ish more votes, they might get in 2021. New listed that year are; Buehrle, Burnett, Cuddyer, Haren, Hudson, Torii Hunter, Laroche, Aramis, Rios, Swisher, Uggla, Victorino and Zito. There is barely a votable candidate from these. 2022 would be Schilling, Bonds and Clemens last years on the ballot and the 1st year for ARod who really needs Bonds and Clemens in to get there.

    In his career Stieb's 4th time through were pretty much the same as his 1st time through. It's just a different time where guys like Stieb would not bring gas in the first 4 with the assumption he's going 8.

    If parents cared about their kids having fun in sports or progressing in sports development...they would never watch them play. I have studies to prove this. Why the f*** is an 8 year old playing a playoff game anyway? And I hope there is travel involved because you are in too small of a community to play opponents locally.

    I won't name drop but there are probably 5 guys left on the board that would be the best pitcher on 8 of the teams. This is a league where three teams might have 3 top 12 pitchers. A team with David Price and Aaron Nola leading their team won this pool.

    McGriff argument would be just simply a better bat (134 wRC+ vs. 122 wRC+). If you are going to consider reliever it's own position...Billy is probably top 3 all-time. All-time in relievers is of course really just over the past 45 years. I am a big Rolen getting into the Hall supporter and I'd love to know if there is anyone who voted for Ozzie or more recently Vizquel and not him cause that would be a huge injustice but one of the best defenders of all time just isn't a sexy argument.

    Continuing the change towards quantity over quality. A reliever gets 100%, a guy that didn't have 2250 hits and just 300 HR's, a pitcher that didn't have much more than 2000 k's and a 3.40 ERA, and a Saber workhorse who ended up with an ERA not in the top 500 of all pitchers with 1000 IP. The times they are a changin'. Now to put a known steroid user in.

    So confused. All of those players are signed. I'm not saying it's right or wrong to just say everyone 22 or older is eligible. Just finding examples of people who would be eligible if we adjusted the rule. I don't think Lynch would be a top 3 pick (unless someone is huge on him and just went 78th in the LOD NPD so I doubt anyone is crazy high on him) and I think he would be a good addition to the Waiver draft this year (I have dipped into the prospect side of the waiver draft more often than most...with no real success story outside of being able to trade the players). Only prospect I remember getting selected in the Waiver draft who went on to be a solid keeper is Rhys Hoskins. Putting more prospect talent into this draft is not the worst idea.

    2018 1st round draftees who turn 22 by February 1st. Joey Bart Alex Bohm Jonathan India Brady Singer Seth Beer Jackson Kowar Daniel Lynch (who was undrafted in DDL's Rule 4 and will most certainly be picked in this June's) Caydn Grenier (undrafted but an Oriole so he suxx) Griffin Roberts (interesting guy who would get drafted in June with a good start) Lynch is a legit prospect (probably top 100) who meets the criteria.

    I'll try and find an example from the past where a player wouldn't have been drafted in our June draft but by the next March would be 22, not in AA yet and be a legit factor in our pool. I imagine it's very small "exception" and your rule change would be fine.

    I like the MiLB portion being in June in the DDL. We have a stat heavy group and this brings out our scouting side. You're an example of someone who has done a good job of finding a style you like and drafting them beyond the draft rankings of the sites. I am very against combining these. I'd like to add that I've made trades this year (really stupid ones I might add) in the waiver draft on the assumption that VVM is not eligible based on our rules. I think it would be wrong to include him now. I'm all for a rule change moving forward though.

    Groshans will be an interesting one. BA doesn't stray too far from it's draft rankings (they are a business and if they jumbled these rankings too much based on 2.5 months of pro ball they would be saying "our draft rankings really mean nothing"). Groshans was 38th in their draft rankings so they would be saying in two and a half months he jumped past 20 to 25 people. On the other hand you do not want to leave a guy off that jumps way up and everyone else has them ranked.

    With BA you can't really judge 100% by the top ten list as it's an individual list (Ben Badler) and then the top 100 is a collaboration with all...although there has been some talk that Cooper pulls rank occasionally. I can't imagine trying to come up with a top 100 between 9 guys without a points system. I'd rather see all 9 individual lists honestly

    Reds had a glut of infielders ahead of Long and now he goes to Seattle where he has Dee Gordon, Negron and Timmy Lopes in line for time at 2B...so I assume the Mariners will move him to LF.

    What if the Jays appear to have a 2020 window of opportunity? Stroman and Sanchez having career years, Vlad being Vlad. When that window opens I want to know what we have in Bo as I'm still not sure.
