Here is what happened. CAA leaked the flight info for their client Robert Herjavec, knowing who everyone would think is on the flight. This was actually a test to see if Toronto fans and Media would respect Ohtani's privacy. Toronto failed miserably. We just Dave Robert's our front office -

He tried to bury a friend (and former board member) who was applying with the Dodgers. That friend was offered the job and later told they ignore AA's references as they are all bad on anyone under 30. This was confirmed later by the Rays as he did the same thing to someone who applied with them.

No one hates AA more than me, and I still think he is a terrible person. However, he has learned a lot as a GM. He added by subtraction losing some voices that influenced him far too greatly. Two years in LA and the Sabermetrics program enrollment obviously helped him out. Still think he has trouble building a 40 man roster. He is a top 10 GM in baseball. Still wouldn't hire him, and would never cheer for the Braves because of him (and their fans) but he is good at building a 26 man roster which is probably pretty important

White has options. Braves have 40 man spots. He is supposed to be ready by spring training. So he is AAA bound
