    Jose's value going forward is not quite what he was dreaming about... his pie in the sky 30M a year for 5 or 6 years is now crumbs and a QO might keep him a jay next year.

    if the ligament is torn it's more a case of whether he will make it worse or not if he plays and pain level. It takes months for a ligament to heal and it might need to be operated on to repair it. This is really bad if it's actually torn.

    exactly... but when they get to AA they need to start building arm strength and learning how to pitch when they get tired. That's a skill that is learned with time and experience.
