  2. it would just make too much sense to simply spend cash on getting a starter when you can have your farm system take it up the ass again this off season. AA and Beeston go against logic and that is why this wont ever happen. beeston wears some 70s porn chick's pussy on his head and the fat greek, straight out of the mail room, are just simply too stupid when it comes to baseball. these 2 idiots should be flippin burgers in some loser franchise, not running the jays.
  3. what is wrong with the jays farm system? sure some of the failure is on the draft side, but you have to put in a solid effort to have all your picks turn into s*** piles.
  4. they only thing that scares me about this off season, the fact that AA(probably pushed by Beeston) made some pretty panicked moves that screamed desperate last off season, how desperate and stupid are they this off season? YIKES!
  5. jays need a change in mentality top to bottom. they have enough power with Ed, Jose and Rasmus. the other 6 guys just need to not make stupid outs.
  6. name 4 jays that are better, dare you. lol
  7. this is a great time for AA to stick to the no deals over 5 years jays rule.
  8. I dont care if a guy has power if he has a .400 OBP hitting HRs doesn't win games as much as just not making fking outs. Cito ball is dead FFS
  9. this is assuming that Ed can be healthy all year. I'd rather protect ed, who is amazingly more valuable to the team than Lind ever could be. that's why Loney makes more sense(if they can afford him)
  10. Bogaerts is probably untouchable... lol he's an exciting player. I'd hope the jays can fill some of the holes in their roster with a couple exciting players. ticket sales growth wont continue without some good moves this off season. the sheep will not be as easy to fool this year. season tickets and flex packs will fall if people dont see a move in what is at least perceived as a move in the right direction.
  11. CM had gotten Lawrie on the right track with the bat last year. I really hope that can carry to next year. his extra energy is a plus on D, but can kill him with the bat if he cant keep it in check.
  12. jays have SS locked up for 3 years. it's second, 1st, C, LF and the rotation they need to fix without taking from any of the other positions.
  13. Lawrie needs to be kept on a short leash. team should ban him and most of the rest of the team from social media and keep them focused on the field. they can twitter all they want during the off season. Lawrie is gifted physically, but they need to keep his mental side focused as much as possible.
  14. the whole 5 year, not wanting to give a guy 200 million dollars thing will stop this from ever happening.
  15. but it's true. Lind cant play more than a couple games at first before he has back spasms, stomach strain, brain dead... he's a liability at best.
  16. back, brain, glove... cant hit lefties, other than that he's solid.
  17. does it really matter where the jays draft as long as AA's gut is in charge of making the decisions? dont even bring in the whole lack of development in the jays farm.
  18. amazing athlete, but the whole concept of team is not always there. if he is kept in line he could be one of the best, but he has the mental focus of a gnat at times. tight reigns and the occasional trip to the principals office is what he needs.
  19. better not scream some other chicks name, she'd break you like a twig with those thighs.
  20. come on man, you cant hate on a guy who is obsessed with his own style points... not like he plays a team sport, oh wait
  21. at least Loney wont be walking around like a pregnant woman if he has to play first base 2 days in a row.
  22. not sure where he was digging up those numbers, but I felt all last season that Loney would be a good option FA to play 1st and give the jays a good OBP guy who gets it. not like "guys who get it" are easy to find in the jays present numbers.
  23. using that statement to talk about other teams while being a jays fan is the pot calling the kettle black. problem is that the jays cant develop players(period)
  24. yes... I get it. you are rating what they have a higher than I am. catcher 2nd base 1 or 2 starters maybe a LF if Melky still cant play without roids. who do they trade to fill the spots without making more holes?
  25. Dickey is not a number 1. I think Stroman can be a solid 2 if he stays healthy, but he is not going to start 30 games in 2014. that would be a huge jump in innings and not going to happen. they are going to need to go out and get a front end guy. slot where they want, but they need another guy who can pitch 200 innings and have an ERA under 3.5. as for being better than last year, they just need to stay healthy to be better, but a little better is not good enough. I really wonder how much less pitching they would need if they had a real catcher? I know it's not all on JPA, but he's not helping the pitching much from behind the plate. having a catcher who is mechanically sound and not dead from the neck up could really help with getting some of the younger guys to the next level. hutch getting an ass whooping.
