    I made a mexican buffet for 20 of my friends. I would have invited you too, but I lost your number, you moved and didn't tell me, your mom said you couldn't come out and play..... lol scratched refried beans, made my own hot sauce and top it all off with a scratched chocolate ice cream cake. I'll trade you for cleaning out the basement any day.

    as it stands, the jays have 6 or 7 number five starters, but no 1 or two. Dickey, MB as 3 4 is great but they need 2 top line starters. they also need a catcher who doesn't have his head up his ass on both sides of the ball. add a first base/ bat guy and a second baseman... the list is more than 2 trades away.

    doing it from behind the scenes Beeston can come out later and blame AA and just fire him to save his own ass. saying he was behind it would require balls and he doesn't have any.

    I think AA was pressured by Beeston who, as amazing as it sounds, knows less about baseball than AA. if the jays dont pull a miracle out of their ass next season I expect that both of them will be gone.

    my question would be more about how much pressure Beeston put on AA to change his plans. AA went from slow, steady, stay the course to the deck chairs flying around the Titanic over night.

    is there another franchise in baseball that has as many clueless players as Toronto seems to have. watching good teams play or even mediocre teams, it's easy to see how many things they do right that the jays players as a collective do so very wrong. Kawasaki, although not a MLB talent, was very refreshing to watch because he knew his role and tried hard to do all the little things right. if the more talented Jays had his commitment to team and to baseball they could be 10 times better over night, but that's not the kind of players the jays have. since I cant imagine that the front office specifically targets *******s, there must be a huge flaw in their philosophy of teaching the game and something that will take more than a few trades to fix. the lack of baseball intellect is more worrying than the lack of talent for me.
