    you have to have a history of skilled labor, they will need someone who is good with their hands. Pat Tabler will be going through the applications because he's an expert on soft hands.

    he's not getting more than 150 innings this year. if he is that good I'd prefer there be innings left in Sept and potentially Oct if this team can jackpot the slot machine.

    they can piggy back him in AA or AAA to start the season and then bring him up in May when Morrow breaks or Happ sucks moose balls. it's funny, stroman has 131 TOTAL innings in pro ball and suddenly people think he's ready to go a full season. problem is that AA isn't any smarter than some of the fans in here.

    and who will take his spot in mid august when they have to close him down?

    he wont have 30 start wherever he is.... he only threw 111 innings last year and that was the most he's ever had, he wont suddenly throw 180 never mind 200.

    in AAA he doesn't have to be counted on for 6-8 innings a game. they can monitor his innings and keep him on a leash. they cant rest him like that if he comes up. he hasn't even done a full year in AAA even so his innings there would be counted closely as well. he wont make 30 starts this year no matter what.

    problem with him being a starter straight out of camp is that he would not be allowed to pitch 30 starts. they have to shut him down. so it might be more prudent to let him start in AAA and then come up when he is needed.

    McGowan and Morrow in the starting 5 would be like throwing matches in a gunpowder factory.... not a matter of if will blow up, just a matter of when.

    I mean all AL teams play each other just as many times. so if there are really s***** teams everyone gets a chance to kick the s*** out of them and if there are really good teams everyone has to get their ass handed too them.

    disagree.... I'd like them to do away with inter league games (which will never happen) and I'd like to see a balanced schedule where all teams play each other the same amount of games. meeting division teams 18 times a year is just as lame. especially when the gaps in division quality is so huge.

    I'm most interested in his time home to second... he turned doubles and triples in singles last year. he'll hit, the question will be if he has any legs for both offense and his D. if he can run, this team is a hell of a lot better off than last year keeping in mind, of course, that they sucked moose balls last year and an improvement wouldn't take much.

    I think it's pathetic when players who haven't played because they are out with injuries all season get voted in. it's 8th grade prom queens. the most popular person gets votes.

    anyone who knows me would laugh at that question. you can take the Canadian out of Canada, but you can't take the Canadian out of them. been here for almost 25 years. have to agree... a hot goalie can steal a one off game. Price was super hot today and we have to hope he has this kind of game against sweden. this was the best game I've seen team canada play in a LONG time. they had a system and all 25 guys bought into it. 60 minutes of almost flawless hockey and they needed. I was really worried that the americans would win. they had been very good.

    isn't this a little like the whole steroid thing 15 years ago. everyone knows it's going on but no one says anything and if anyone does it turns into a he said, she said, someone put a needle in his ass kind of thing?

    I'll bet the jays front office wants this more than anyone. it's great free press. free advertising is always good for any business.

    hard to believe there is still that big of a pull. we should tell JPA that letting him go is good for business I guess. lol I doubt I'll be on that continent this year, so I'll have to stick with mlb.tv and hope they dont add more s*** that doesn't work this year.
