pitching really isn't the problem. it's the offense and defense that have screwed them so far. play good ball, put good swings on the ball, estrada doesn't s*** the bed and the jays should win tomorrow.

I was a college hoops fan growing up and when Toronto scored a team I was definitely in. I love hockey and hoops, but baseball is the only sport I pay to see live. I can just as soon download other sports and watch the next day most of the year, but I will stay up all night and watch live baseball any time the jays are playing. -
Price should be good to go. he just had 11 days off and he should be fine to go on 3 days rest. if we make it to game 5 Stroman has to be the guy for that. as others have said, you don't want to lose with your best guys on the bench.

not to piss on things... but wouldn't it be nice to have him starting for the jays tomorrow. sigh... what might have been.

it will be interesting to see what they do with him next year. He's got stuff for days, but even after the innings he pitched this year he probably can't make 25 starts next year. he had 70 innings regular season this year and had never thrown more than 43. Not sure they can expect him to go from 43 to 70 and then 150? Stuff wise I can see him being a solid 2. His slider has come a long way this year and it will be better by the time April rolls around.

the guys in front of us packed in 10 beers each before the 7th and were absolutely obnoxious the last 2 innings. But none of the drunks where as annoying as the idiot selling snacks. moron stood in the way with the s*** on his head looking like an idiot for almost a half inning every time he came down. fans spent more time yelling at that idiot than they did the umpire. pretty much says how bad he was. most of the concession guys got down and out of the way and still got their jobs done. wonder if it was the guy who used to post on here about his inside track because he worked at the RC? lol -

jays could have a stadium like that too. All they have to do is rope off 30,000 seats and sell out at 18,000, double the price of tickets and they'd be like the ACC. if you want 48,000 fans at a game you are going to get some nut jobs.

I'm not happy with it, but I'm really disappointed in how our team forgot how to hit part way through the game. They got back in it taking the ball the other way and just putting good swings on the ball and then went homer happy and didn't score again.

Price on 3 is better than Dickey every day of the week and absolutely with the season in the balance. same goes for game 5, if they get there it has to be Stroman.

if they can win next game they have to use their best pitchers. Can't let the season rest in Dickey's hands.

it's amazing that the MLB front office rewards incompetence in the regular season with post season games. umps usually call where the ball hits the glove or where it goes across the plate. Where it goes across the plate is "supposed" to be the correct call but this ass wipe kept changing from one to another and that is why both teams hated on him. early Stroman was throwing nasty s*** that was a strike over the plate but not where it hit the glove and later he was calling pitches that went around the plate strikes, in the end he was calling strikes that where never close to the plate strikes. the post season is supposed to be the big showcase for the sport. Amazing that the commissioner is willing to let this kind of s*** be their flagship.

home plate ump and Texas out played the jays. jays were tag teamed in this one.
