absolutely!!! but I was hoping they be done before my birthday. was planning on relaxing and drinking with friends. too nervous for friends, so I'll drink alone. lol need to go out and get some food before it's time to yell at the tv. -
I hear you... don't want to make anything, don't care to go out and buy anything and don't really care if I eat just now, but I will have to eat something before game time. feel like the Jays are seriously better than the Rangers, but it's a one and done.....

being able to go to any venue and root for your team has always been a great thing about North American sports. Things like this rarely happen, but it's 2 in California in about a years time and that's a bad trend. In the end it's just a game and should never be a "life or death" issue.

could go Penny to start the game and then put Goins in for D later in the game. wouldn't be a horrible move, but leaving Goins in the game really isn't a wrong choice either.

umps are given a line of how to "judge" the rules and this is a play that has been outside the rules for decades, but almost never gets enforced. To have the commissioners office come out after and punish Utley is odd considering how many very similar tackles have happened in the past 2 weeks without the commissioners office getting involved. If there was no injury this play wouldn't even have been looked at. Was it wrong? HELL YEAH! Should utley have been suspended? NO! Changing how the rules are interpreted in the middle of the playoffs is lame. I really think mlb has seen the bad press that the NFL has had the last couple of years and this is a move to subdue the critics.
