    he's a career .300 hitter who hits against R and L pitching. He's a pretty good defender, but has a s***** arm. He's a great leadoff hitter/LF.

    it's a good problem to have going forward. having too many guys for spots is better than how things have been the last years where the jays barely had positions covered and if anyone got hurt the jays were screwed.

    they said yesterday that he would play one and rest today, then play tomorrow. easing him into the lineup instead of risking him breaking down.
